VANG's customs for "Dirty Works"

Tonight, February 12th in Cologne Germany at 30works Gallery is a group show titled "Dirty Works"! This is the second annual run of this show and it features new works by: Bananensprayer, EMESS, Johannes Gonné, L.E.T., Nils Müller, Panamoe, {ths}, Lena Schmidt, Pim Smit, Vang, Van Ray, and Marc C. Woehr. Today we are getting a glimpse at new custom vinyl works by VANG as he is set to unveil his new line of works called "Icons", and as you can see, he has taken a really great collage approach to these vinyl figures... pretty cool stuff!

**OPENING TONIGHT** Rotofgi presents "Beauty & The Kaiju" 2/12/2011

Opening tonight at Rotofugi, this mini-exhibit titled "Beauty & the Kaiju" is curated by Mark Nagata of Max Toy Company and pairs up six female Japanese artists for their take on the Max Toy Company characters like Eyezon, Drazorus, etc. Stop by Rotofugi from 5pm until 7pm this evening (Sat, Feb. 12) for first shot at art, customs (like those shown above by Konatsu), prints and some beautiful hand-painted Max Toy Company minis that Mark sent for the opening. Anything left after the opening will be made available via the gallery website early next week. When they're available online they will notify members of their Gallery Preview List first, so why not sign up?
