Splurrt's "HiYa" resin one-off's


Joe Merrill aka Splurrt is set to drop a new round of custom one-off's of his resin figure "HiYa"! There are only 6 of these available, so act fast! They stand 4.5" tall, have articulated arms, and have great taste in under garments :-) We first saw these at NYCC 2010, and those have long sold out. "New Zealand Goes Pop" group show @ Wootini

Wootini Gallery is excited to announce the New Zealand Goes Pop group art show featuring artists living in or originally from the proud little country down under. Jess George aka Team Sweet is acting as curator for this show held at Wootini Gallery in Carrboro North Carolina. Featuring prints, original paintings, plushies and customized designer figures by Becky Dreistadt, City Down, EDMO!, Jake Hope, Karla Hansen, Marc Streeter, Michael Kennedy, Paul Shih, PNTR, Podgy Panda, SHOo, thisisrabbit and Xander Laytin. This looks like a really great show, make sure to check it out!

New and Improved KusoPop Website is up!

The new KusoPop website is finally completed, and has lots of new stuff to check out like a gallery, lookbook, wallpapers, an exclusive interview with Linda Le, and a video of the KusoPop t-shirt shoot. *Opening Tonight* “Sacred Trip” new works from Carlos Enriquez Gonzalez @ Toy Art Gallery


Toy Art Gallery is proud to announce that they will be hosting the works of Carlos Enriquez Gonzalez in his solo show titled "Sacred Trip"! This show, set to open TONIGHT Friday, January 21st and will feature the continued exploration of Gonzalez's work as he delves deeper into the relationship between man and God, man and woman, and toy and art. Seen as very sexually driven, and his work revealing Mushrooms, eyes, monsters, brains, human parts, sacred elements, and sexual organs, his work is super unique and evokes emotions that true art pieces have been know to do for centuries.

Be sure to come on out to TAG tonight from 7pm–11pm as Carlos is flying in from Venezuela to attend the opening to meet and greet with all his fans. The gallery has been painted up to reflect the subject matter and lend in an entertaining experience. If you can make it out, you will not be disappointed as this show will be filled with enough visual eye candy to last the remainder of 2011! SUCKADELIC Opening Party Recap - BOO-HOORAY Gallery and closing party festivities!


So did you miss out on the opening party of SUCKLORD's art retrospective... and your kicking yourself now because you watched the above video where you viewed how awesome it was. A.skate Foundation charity artist deck


The A.skate Foundation is a (pending) 501(c)3 non profit that allows children with autism to be a part of our social world through skateboarding. They hold clinics for children with autism at no cost to the families, give grants to children with autism for skateboard gear, as well as promote awareness and educate families about the skateboard industry. Artist Brian Dinonno created a special edition A.skate x Zoo York deck with the sales of it going to help fund Askate. As it stands right now, it's not yet available to retail, but I will do a follow up post later when you can snag this up.
