Maharishi exclusive Michael Lau vinyl figures
Posted up in the London based Maharishi webstore are these retail exclusive figures designed by Michael Lau. These 3 figures are designs that we have seen before... or at least have been released before under different companies but tan/brown/orange colored version of each is exclusive to Maharishi! All ranging in price and size you can pick up the Mixtra Shoe set for £40.00, the Toobigfoot for £80.00 and the NY Fat 6x2 for £160.00! I personally really dig the Toobigfoot figure, which by the way I have never seen before. What are your thoughts on these, and will you pick them up?

First look at T.A.G.'s production 'Alien Argus' figure
Approaching very fast is the upcoming custom vinyl show at Toy Art Gallery which is going to feature the first figure collaboration between Mark Nagata's Max Toy Company and T.A.G. as the show will be focused on the new Alien Argus figure. Not only will there be 50+ customs on hand, but T.A.G. will be debuting the first official production release of this figure... and today we are getting a sneak peek at it. This figure looks super promising, not only with the bits of paint that we see, but the fact that it's 100% high-grade Japanese vinyl, has 10 points of articulation, stands 10" tall, and comes with some extras! Stay tuned for more pics and details.

Swatch X Kidrobot watches - Tara McPherson
Kidrobot has been hinting at an upcoming collaboration with 80's watch all-stars Swatch... which will not only include artist designed watches, but those watches come with a 3" Dunny counterpart. Today, we just so happened to stumble upon the entire series and over the course of the next few days will be revealing them. The artist lineup includes Gary Baseman, Tara McPherson, Tilt, Joe Ledbetter, Jeremyville, SSUR, MAD and Frank Kozik... the cool thing is that the artists designed the Dunnys and watches to be a unit so they all match up pretty well. There is speculation that these might be really limited, but they may also be an open run. There is also no price point set, but rumor has it that the each figure/watch set will retail for $75, giving collectors something to wear and something to display.
Today we are featuring the work of artist Tara McPherson as she creates yet another awesome Dunny featuring a very soft color pallet that she continues to utilize so well along with a stong 3-eyed design that is both cute and creepy... gotta love that tongue sticking out! The watch does a great job of tying in the design, and is sure to be a fan favorite!

What do a hamburger, beanpole and robotic firefighter have in common...?
Well... not too much, except that hot off the announcement of Super 7's upcoming 1-Off's custom vinyl toy show, artist Dan O. aka D-LuX just sent over some glistening new creations that are making their way across the country to SF as we speak for this show. Dan pretty much used every color imaginable on these custom figures, and I can guarantee they will look better in person... I know, how can that even be possible! Head on out to Super 7 on Saturday, January 29th to see all these figure plus more in person!
