"Yuki" & "Hotaru" custom Dunny's from ArtMyMind
Guillaume and Julia Lachambre aka ArtMyMind from France just submitted a new pair of rad custom Dunny's titled "Yuki" and "Hotaru" which are based on their recent fascination and travels to Japan. Each one is carefully hand-painted with acrylics and then each has a custom wardrobe to represent the traditional Japanese garb. These are set to go on sale tomorrow at 5am PST in their online store HERE for $55 each.

OPENING TONIGHT: "YOU'RE AN A**HOLE FOR BUYING THIS" The SUCKADELIC art retrospective!
Opening tonight... January 11, 2011 from 6pm till whenever is one of the most horribly, non-climatic, suckiest art shows of 2011... that being said, it's no surprise that it's the first ever SUCKADELIC retrospective gallery exhibition proudly presented by the Boo-Hooray Gallery curated by Johan Kugelberg and Simeon Lipman. This exhibit is going to showcase all of the SUCKLORD's flops from the past decade, including, but not limited to, Original artwork, sculptures, silk-screens, resin figures and paintings... not to mention a HUGE gallery mural painted up by tons of SUCKLORD's minions!
Along with the exhibition, there will also be a 100 page catalog which is a limited edition of 500 copies... and a deluxe signed limited edition catalog of 50 copies with an exclusively created SUCKADELIC figure will also be available. Oh and the Sucklord along with his cronies and villains will be on hand to tear the place apart!
Opening Party: January 11, 2011, 6pm
Closing Party: January 23, 2011, 3pm

Brian Colin and 'The Sketchbook Project' tour
Brian Colin is participating in a really cool event titled 'The Sketchbook Project 2011'. This is a really cool traveling art show that features thousands of sketchbooks that will be exhibited at galleries and museums as they make their way on tour across the country. After the tour, all sketchbooks will enter into the permanent collection of The Brooklyn Art Library, where they will be barcoded and available for the public to view. Brian has been really busy with this emence project where he has delve deeper into his imaginary land of beasts called "The Lands of Revilo"/ Brian says that "it's less of a sketchbook and more of a journal that contains sketches, photos, and storytelling." The printed version will be available in a bunch of towns around the country... and Bian has actually made a digital version for you all to see... download it HERE.

Lulubell to release re-issued Bullmark kaiju!
Lulubell Toy Bodega is excited to announce a release from one of the original players in the kaiju world, Bullmark! They are best known for their issues of classic Japanese kaiju characters in the 60's & 70's, and officially stopped producing in 1977, but remained involved with M1 & Bandai, producing licensed re-issues which became highly coveted, and also highly priced! Super 7 is set to release two of their most coveted creations... and they both fit in yer pocket. Introducing the "Midnight" Pocket Mummy Gator and "Moonlight" Pocket Mummy Boy! The Gator is cast in translucent purple vinyl with black and light blue sprays, and the Mummy is cast in Blue Glow-in-the-Dark vinyl with purple and soft-white sprays.
