WHAT'S NEW

*REVIEW* SDCC/TTF 2011 "Profondo Rosso" edition "M5 BRAVO" & "STEE-GAR" from Jeff Lamm

I was fortunate enough to get my hands on one of the newer versions of Jeff Lamm's awesome "M5 BRAVO" & "STEE-GAR" figures... and decided to do a LIVE review of them. In the above video you can check out these seriously cool figures... which by the way are a must have for any designer vinyl collector out there! These figures, unlike Jeff's previously released "Greasebat" figure, have been produced by the great folks over at Unbox Industries, and this particular colorway was very limited in edition size as it was released at only Taipei Toy Festival and SDCC 2011! Dubbed the "Profondo Rosso" colorway, which is based off the 1975 cult classic horror movie "Deep Red"... and how fitting seeing as these figures are a deep red :-)

The quality on each one is top notch, and the thing about these two figures that seperates them from other designer vinyl is the fact that each toy is made of three interchangeable sections and can be mixed and matched... it's a great idea!!! On top of that, there is enough articulation to go around for days... the legs, wings, arms, head, and torso all move! I really love the concept of interchangeability, and that really does open up the realm of many more possibilities.... gotta love playability!!!! There are none out there available at the moment, but once they pop up you gotta snag em' when you have the chance as they go quick! Like mentioned before, these are a must buy... no matter what the colorway, add them to your collection when you have the opportunity!
