Blimpus - A NEW Inflatable Character Canvas

Some days we get some really sweet emails, and today was one of those! Mike and Tony have been working together on traditional design, and most recently launched a company named BLIMPUS, a new venture that has some undertones that carry over to our little neck of the woods... the DIY designer toy scene. They have created a large organic looking inflatable figure under the same company name they are calling "Blimpus" which has a very bulbous, yet playful shape.

At first glance this really did not do much for me, but after seeing some designs on it, and the potential that this could posses... I am sold, it's really alot of fun! This is essentially a blank, inflatable canvas made of ink-receptive PVC vinyl with a big silly head to paint on and hard sewn-in feet to stand about 2' tall! Thse guys are well on their way with tons of ideas, but are looking to go to the next level... that is why they started a Kickstarter account... for YOU to pitch in and help them get this project off the ground.

There are 3 options, the first being Option 1: Blank White DIY Blimpus where you can pretty much use anything to customize this shape. Option 2: Solid Color Blimpus with Sticker Kit, which is the next step up allowing you to customize your Blimpus with fun stickers on a solid colored background. Option 3: Designer Edition Character Blimpus, which features some really fun designs such as the Cyclops, Yeti, Owl, and Ninja.
