Luke Chueh never ceases to amaze his fans with what he has going on in that always artistic brain of his... and just when I thought I had the giant mascot of the year award with my "Stroll" figure which debut at Designer-Con... Luke just had to one-up me with this amazing life sized replica of his "
Possessed" figure. Posted up via his
twitter account he posted up this awesome picture, looking very frightened, I might add of himself standing in front of this massive creature. This is still a wip, but should be completed for his solo show at
Corey Helford Gallery in February 2011... what else has he got going on for this show... we will just have to be patient and see :-)

Motorbot has teamed up with Mark Nagata and Max Toy Co. to release a small run of 5 custom Eyezon's dubbed the "Twisted Metal" version. Motorbot too this already amazing looking creature and gave it his own magic touch turning it into a fierce metallic mass of destruction. These will be up for grabs

We have been seeing images pop up here and there of Mark Nagatas' latest venture with
Max Toy Company, and now things are starting to pick up so we figures it was about time to show these off. Big Sister to Marks already character "Captain Maxx", "
Lady Maxx", according to Mark is "no push over"! This figure is being replicated in soft vinyl by Max Toy Company which is being expertly sculpted and designed by Makino-san of TTtoys of Japan... and above toy can see the actual sculpt, along with the first test pull of vinyl standing inbetween the two painted Captain Maxx's! This is an awesome addition to the already large growing cast of Max-mini's! Look for these to drop early 2011!

Another awesome
Coarse Toys Paw! custom by another fantastically talented artist, as
Lunabee put her paintbrush to work on this underwater creature titled "
Pontos". It's really such a pleasure to see the amount of time and effort put forth into this already cool figure form, and what a lucky collector to add this to their collection as this was a commissioned piece that Sarah completed for them... not to mention the accompanied backstory!
The story of Pontos:"
He is the ruler of all the ocean and all the creatures within. An aggressive and sometime brutal king, Pontos' mood can be foretold by the actions of the waves - when all is calm Pontos is in good spirits, but when the waves are crashing and whirlpools erupt, all the sea creatures know to stay clear. Pontos has 3 guards who protect him day and night, the Octopi - Clio, Xantho and Opis. Xantho has the very special job of guarding Pontos' heart to ensure that the king can rule for eternity."

Joe Ledbetters' website is a fantastic new mini series being released with
Play Imaginative, and I can't understand why this has not been done already because it's genius! Joe put his own spin on the entire series of Zodiac creatures including
Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Ram, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig, Rat, Ox, and Tiger... which all are going to be window boxed so you don;t have to jump through hoops to find the one you like! I guarantee these are going to be a hit not only with the Chinese culture, but with vinyl collectors alike! These are set to release in 2011... hopefully in time to ring in the new year, Kung Hei Fat Choi!!! Hit the jump to see all these figure close up!

Ian Ziobrowski has been on fire lately, and these two customs are no joke. On top is "Jerry Garcia", with a top notch paint job and incredible sculpting to match, this 7" Munny is full of details. On the bottom is "Qeebert Einstein", which is just a massive piece of awesomeness... done on an 18" Qee, this beast must weigh a ton! Make sure to keep an eye out for Ian in the future, I'm sure he will have lots to offer in 2011.
