*REVIEW* Skeleton "Cavey" from Holly Stanway

Cavey is a new plush toy coming to us from UK artist and designer Holly aka A Little Stranger. If you have never heard of Cavey... you must either be new to the designer toy scene, or have been living under a rock because these little plush creations have grown in popularity since the second half of this year! Each Cavey is handmade solely by Holly and they come in many breeds, each with their own unique personalities. Something about handmade anything is super attractive, it really shows the hard work and dedication put into each and every piece. Holly says that "The idea for Cavey came about from my love for my 3 pet guinea pigs, "The Punisher", "Lord Violence" and "The Lizardman". I just love their fat little bodies and shy nature." Holly sent over a special 1-off punk rock skeleton for us to review... and above is just that! Take a few minutes and watch the video then head on over to the Cavey site HERE and pick a few up for yourself! Thanks Holly... top notch stuff!

k.olin tribu x Frank Kozik porcelain Anarchy "Potamus" revealed with release dates

Just posted up earlier this past week was a teaser for an upcoming project that newcomers k.olin tribu, a French porcelain company, showed off as they teamed up Frank Kozik... and up until now we had no idea what they would be making. Introducing Frank Koziks' Potamus "Red" and "Black" Anarchy porcelain Limoges! These are set to drop on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 HERE, are limited to 250 pieces and will include two different buying options. The first is sold as a single figure for $177, but if you want both, the 2-pack is retailing for $280 which is limited to only 50 packs! They all come packed in a collectible box along with a certificate of authenticity. I really do like the way they are doing these figures in porcelian, the only thing that is kinda off for me on this one is the cigarette... something about it being apart of the main piece just looks weird... would be rad if it were a separate piece, other than that I dig what I am seeing! Hit the jump to check out the packaging!
