It seems as though everyone is trying to cram one last show into 2010 as there is so much going on this weekend... no matter where you live there is a HUGE art show opening near you, this is for sure the case if your in or around the Chicago area as
Rotofugi is playing host to an awesome show titled "
Japanese Vinyl, Kaiju & Beyond" which features new works and exclusive release from the masterminds at
Gargamel. The opening will be Friday, December 10, from 7pm-10pm where Gargamel lead creative Kiyoka Ikeda and Koji Harmon (Cometdebris) will both be in attendance to meet fans.
Exclusive Gargamel releases for this exhibit are
Pocket Oozebat,
Pocket Zagoran and Pocket Angel Bird in unpainted clear purple vinyl,
Crouching Miborah (debut) in unpainted light blue vinyl and a full size
Zagoran in light blue vinyl with purple accents. Exclusives will be limit one per customer during the opening reception... and the rest will be put up online for those unable to attend!

Last year around the same time we posted up the first picture of
Patch Together's Floxy blind box series, and now a whole year later these are set to release.The origional shape was designed by SOMA, and this vinyl figure has the likes of designs from artists such as
DUST, Stick-A-Thing, Bunka, Saprophilous, Missmonster, Okkle, Flim, Johnny Wander, and VISEone. These are set to retail at $9.95 a piece and are available via the patch Together site HERE and at most vinyl retail shops in the near future.
