The Beast Brother's "El Demoniaco" Misfortune Cat Luchador custom

Ernesto and Carlos East aka the Beast Brothers just competed one doozie of a custom titled "El Demoniaco", which translates to the demon, for their friend Ferg, owner/operator of PLAYGE for his bitrthday! This fantastic 3-eyed luchador does not appear to have the best of luck... in fact it's a perfect fit for the misfortune cat platform it was completed on.

The attention to detail is so great, and I love the sword going in one side of the head/mask and stretching the fabric on the other... brilliant! Also to mention, just like the other customs created by these two, they document the whole process from start to finish which is a pleasure to see. Hit up their Flickr HERE to see all the great picture, and enjoy the "Unmasking" of the figure in the video above... killer work guys, viva la lucha!

Awesome new releases from Thunderpanda!

Eric Wirjanata aka Thunderpanda has some exciting news to share with us today... in fact he's been super busy with some really great collaborations. The first of which is with Holly of A little Stranger as they plan on producing a very special run of Cavey's titled "Cavey the Sea Wanderer". This will be released very soon and will come in 2 different colorways, green and the black.

Up next is a great project with Win Satrya of Plastic Culture, as they have teamed up to bring one of Eric's creatures to life titled "The Sea Wanderer". As the story goes "back in the days during the golden era of 2d animation, a superstar mouse visited the deepest ocean and met a beautiful octopus." These are still in the rough prototype stages, but as they stand right now, they looks great, and I can't wait to see more!

Well what a treat this is... MAD just posted up some pictures of some customs that have been a long time in the making. These custom "MORK" MADL's were created for his 2008 subscription holders, and he went all out. There are 3 versions that he created: "Clouds", "Stripes", and "Stars" and each will come with a matching canvas. I was one of the fortunate few to be part of this, so when mine makes it to its new home... more pictures will follow :-)
