Bloody Brain Shots...um okay :-)

This is so awesome!!! Thanks to Geekologie I found this cool recipe for all you kids...above 21 that is, to try at your festive party tonight, and talk about a total gross out, guarenteed people will be talking about this shot at work around the water cooler on Monday, have fun with this one folks, and be safe!

Bloody brain shooter
1 1/4 oz. strawberry vodka such as Stoli
1/8 oz. Rose's lime juice
3/4 oz. Bailey's Irish Cream
Splash of grenadine

Preparation: Chill vodka for better smoothness. Add vodka and lime juice to a shaker, shake and strain into a shot glass. Using a straw, dip some Bailey's Irish Cream into the shot. Once you submerge the straw into the Bailey's put your finger on top of the straw to hold the Bailey's in the straw. Dip the straw tip into the vodka and slowly release your top finger. The Bailey's will curdle a little bit due to the lime juice and you should be able to make strands of Bailey's.

Repeat the straw/Bailey's process to build a "brain" in the shot glass. Add a splash of grenadine to the concoction to add the 'blood' to the mix. Down the hatch as a shot.

Alternatively, have a friend hold a shot of Bailey's in their mouth and then add one of lime juice and swish it around. Cement mixer! Puke! Lose a friend! This was courtsey of brain shots [folkinz]Via Bloody Brain Shooters [neatorama]

How to Make Canned Monstrosities

Found this on I Make Projects:
The above items were made for only a couple dollars each! It's easy if you have a few things around the house and a dollar store nearby. You just need a little imagination and an eye for mixing and matching.

Who needs off-the-shelf seasonal Halloween decorations when you can make your own in an afternoon for a fraction of the price and get ten times the quality - not to mention something wholly unique?

This is a process, rather than a specific How-To. Use a similar process on your own to mix and match different items to make your own jars. Wander through the dollar store and look at the various items in a whole new way!

The most important thing is to think of a story behind each creation. This will direct your efforts. Once you have a concept in mind, the rest of the jar will pretty much make itself.

Here is how the above items were made. Expand on this and make your own!
These are some really great ideas, and I thought it was really cool to see what was made just by using common items you can find around the house or at the store for really cheap. Have fun, and if you do use this tutorial to make some of your own, send em my way, I wanna see!!!!

It's Pumpkin Bombing Season!

In celebration of Halloween, and all things orange and heavy, I present to you guys one of the sweetest pumpkin dropping montages I have ever seen... Note the awesome sound and actual reality of possible death (if hit by one of these beasts), as the cars get crushed like tin cans. Simply amazing...

P.S. I also love how the first guy who pulls the string slips as he dives away from the jack o' lantern death machine. I bet he peed a little.
