Tan-Ki is making the trek out for his first ever solo show in the USA and he is bringing his ever popular resin "KiToy" figure along. This figure has endured many different "insertions" - if you will - as Tan-Ki embeds anything and everything into this stout character. For this show he will have at least 20 variations plus bronze and HUGE 8" versions, not to mention multiple customs and paintings. Opening on November 12th, 2010 this show is a must see! Super7 is the second painted release painted release of this rad figure which is rockin a dope metallic blue and gold paint job on orange vinyl. These are set to drop on Saturday, October 30th for only $30 each... and will surely sell out!

Junko Mizuno and
Mizna Wada. Both known internationally for their Kawaii Noir style and paintings of femme fatale cuties. Opening on November 13, 2010 and running until November 29, 2010... this show is a must attend!
Junko Mizuno is revered in the Gothic Kawaii/Kawaii Noir genre, a combination of all that is humorous and tragic. Juxtaposing childlike cuteness and horror, her demented nymphets are bold, colorful, erotic, morbid, yet at the same time comical. In this most recent body of work, Mizuno explores and plays with organic and decorative elements. Unleashing her nymphet terrors free to run amuck amongst blooming flora in a lush, exploding botanical oasis.
Mizna Wada is a illustrator and designer whose wide-eyed, cute yet creepy lolitas are inspired by the horror comics she read while growing up in Tokyo. Oftentimes, Wada brings her characters to life in the form of darling hand-made plush dolls. Fashioned head to toe, the beautifully adorned, one-of-a-kind and expertly crafted creations are nothing short of charming and an absolute delight.

Max Toy Company has recently released some info about an awesome art show in Japan on October 23, 2010 with fellow Kaiju painter
Matt Walker, called "In Living Kolor "... now why the "K" and not the"C" it's because it is referring to Matt's new line of paints called
Monster Kolor, so not only are they promoting their art but also this great new company. Mark and Matt will both travel over to Japan for this event where they will be doing a ton of live painting, and Mark goes on to mention to "
fully expect some surprise guests to join in sort of a painting "jam" session"! Can't make it to Japan... no worries because they plan on documenting the trip, so look forward to all of that!

We posted up the artist collab that ZacPac and Medicom Toy Company ended up sponsoring between Jeff Soto and Maxx242 as they released some rad new Be@rbrick figures!
