Nooka Inc. is bringing his distinct style to the West Coast which will be on display for all to see at Ronin Gallery in Los Angeles. [
Press from Ronin] Fairies are ancient and wise, mischievous and helpful, and thoroughly misunderstood in most modern cultures. Sensing this crisis, in an attempt to politicize their agenda, the fairy labor union has chosen artist Matthew Waldman as their human voice. “Glitter from Grit” is their latest missive told through his hands.
From what I can tell Matthew is focusing some of his efforts on the above golden fairy like characters, and wow does he have a whole crew of them. I am sure this show will feature other mediums like digital graphics and traditional sorts, but these 3D figures is what are peaking my interest. The opening reception is on October 21, 2010 from 6–11 pm... be sure to clear your calendars and make it out for this show!

Just in time for the Halloween holiday
Tesselate is set to release HEY YOU G.U.Y.S (G.U.Y.S stands for 'give us your sweets') resin figures consist of 6 members of the HYG, 1 or 2 super secret characters
(it's secret) and also a BOSS character, who is the nemesis of the HYG crew! The HYG crew stand at 4cm tall with masks off, and around 7-9cm tall with masks on. Each figure will be sold separately, comes with own packaging and will have some Tesselate stickers bundled in with the package. These are set to released on Tuesday, October 19th via the Tesselate online store

Okedoki just sent in pics of her custom "Little Speed Demon", and I love her cute take on the normally creepy "Mechanical Demon" figure from
Momo's Workshop, which has been completely re-worked using polyresin, epoxy, sculpey, wood, aluminum foil, rubber, plastic, glue, and acrylic paints. This custom was created for the Release Your Inner Demon Show presented by Momo's Workshop in China.
"Mr. Rabbit is out for his sunday drive, and he isn't going to church! Watch out!"
