Revealed during NYCC 2010,
RAJE Toys produced a special edition of their Dr.Brain figure they dubbed the “
Liberty Edition”. This bright blue figure had some really cool metal riveted plate accents along with a teal accented breast medallion and a brain floating in a bluish liquid! This Dr. Brain version was a very
limited run of only 75 pieces and was sold at the con for
only $60! I am sure if all did not sell during the con they will put these up for sale very soon, so keep your eyes peeled for more info!

I thought it appropriate after all this time to show off the original teaser that Ashley gave us when he first announced the
Adventure Kartel line and of course
Fighting JC, "
the Mean Essene" a
kickboxer version of Christ. It's been a long time coming but finally this week the figure will be for sale. there are
4 versions announced so far.
Exegesis JC, Fighting JC standard, Tracky Boss, and a very Special Mauro which is part of a announced
very limited 2 pack. All the JC's will come with a great
embroidered robe as well as a zombie head. The JC's are to be sold as shown...
Exegesis JC will be the
3AA member exclusive.
Standard JC is open to anyone, both of these will be
available for 24 hours. While the
tracky and the Mauro 2 pack versions will be while supplies last and will be surprise drops, meaning there is no time that they will be dropped in the store. As always that's part of the magic that is 3A. Prices as yet haven't been confirmed but look for the
standard AK prices of $80 per figure as a good estimate with
$150 as the estimate for the special 2 pack version. As always these will go
on sale on Thurs. Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. at Bambaland and
Bambasia More details to follow as we get them.

Matthew Ryan Sharp spends weeks in his studio insatiably conceptualizing and sketching new drawings and paintings influenced by the traveling Midway, dust bowl drifters, and the domestic bourgeoisie. Fearless in his execution, the artist documents in each piece an untold story ripe with history, craftsmanship and misery. Having participated in over 40 national and international exhibitions since 2006, Matthew has been inviting viewers to develop and bond with each of his characters' psyche and spirit.
Being hosted by
William Rupnik Gallery and debuting at the opening is Matthew's limited edition, self-published book,
The Benefits of Exhaustion. The 120-page softcover book chronicles the artist's past six years of restlessness, anxiety and dedication in way of paint and brush, pencil and page. Custom hand-sewn and hand-painted plushies, iPod and iPhone hard cases starring Matthew's ghoulish creatures will also be featured at the opening. A portion of all sales will be donated to The Rainbow Connection Animal Foundation, a non-profit, no-kill, 100% volunteer animal rescue organization based in Cleveland.
