New Munnyworld customs from Gangtoyz

French based artist Cpassek has put out some awesome customs under his Gangtoys label, and these are just as dope! Soul Pop, Blue Battle, Bad Brain and Mutagen-S (respectively) all have awesome colors and a nice glossy finish that makes them stand out. I love the comic book vibe, and I really like Bad Brain and Mutagen-S... I'm a sucker for red and black. These customs look top notch! Check out more of his detailed and funky customs here.

Chauskoskis' - Zenoforo Sereno, "Master of the good vibe" - Elite Movable Cubez @ NYCC 2010

Walter Jacott aka Chauskoskis continues his custom rampage and this time around he tackled Elite Gudz's new wood platform figure titled "Elite Movable Cubez" or [e=MC3] which are set to debut @ the NYCC Cultyard this weekend Oct 8-10! Walter did what he does best and sculpted the crap outta this piece, yet still keeping the shape in mind, and not hidden from the amount of work put forth! This piece Walter is calling - Zenoforo Sereno, "Master of the good vibe" - features a guru type character sitting on top of a box smoking, while in full meditation pose.

One of the really fantastic things about this figure is that it doubles as an incense holder, or something of the sort because in the video above you can see smoke billowing out from Zenoforo's mouth... so SWEET! Walter, being from Mexico, also added a rad "Hecho en Mexico" sticker to the side of the box as well as his logo... what a nice touch! You can stop by the Elite Gudz booth #2883 in the Toy CultYard to see this piece in person, heck... by this piece in person :-)

Luke Chueh's "Blood & Fuzz" 8" Dunny release and pricing info!

More news has surfaced today about Luke Chueh's 8" Dunny design based on his 3" series 6 Dunny, aptly titled "Blood & Fuzz Dunny", and we are getting a look at the full product along with the packaging. Along with the flocked 8" Dunny, this piece comes with a severed Dunny head sitting in a pool of blood which is very reminiscent of Luke's other non-Dunny releases! The severed head, is larger than that of a 3" Dunny head, so you will recognize the difference when placed next to one! One of the really cool things about this piece is that Kidrobot dropped the price on this, as it set to retail for only $60! The release is going to take place on October 14th, and along with the release... Luke will participate at a signing via the Los Angeles Kidrobot store. A ton of people have been waiting for this, so now the wait is over... congrats Luke!

J*RYU "La Mano Del Tiempo" custom Qee

Artist J*RYU shares with us today his amazing submission for Dragatomi's 15th Anniversary Qee Show which is being sponsored by Toy2R, and unlike many of his previous customs this piece, although sculpted very heavily on, still shows off the original shape of the Qee platform which should really appeal to collectors. Titled "La Mano Del Tiempo" which means - The Hand of Time - really showcases Jesse's talents as he continues to explore the wood texturing throughout his pieces.

The story behind La Mano Del Tiempo:
"Time stands still in the Forest of Sorrows...or does it? For all the otherworldly denizens of the forest, the constant ticking of La Mano Del Tiempo (The Hand of Time) serves as a reminder that time waits for no one and that it's impossible to escape its unrelenting grasp."

Jesse spends a ton of time, layering on magic sculpt and sculpey on top of metal and wire armature, once sclpting is complete he then goes in and gives his pieces color with a healty amount of acrylic paints. One this that makes this piece stand out among the rest is the inclusion of a custom working clock... so not only is this an amazing piece of art, but a functional one as well. Fantastic job once again dude, and for more pictures hit up Jesse's Flickr HERE. To see this piece in person, make sure you stop by Dragatomi this Saturday, October 9th for the opening of this amazing custom toy show!

VISEone brings the heat (and The Hulk) to NYCC!

VISEone has been tearing it up lately with his line of "Comic Stripped" customs, and his recent pieces are no joke! He is going to be taking over the Patch Together booth at New York Comic-Con this weekend with a whole bunch of new stuff to check out.

First off is a 10" GID Green Mad'l, based on The Incredible Hulk...  the green is so strong and very fitting for The Hulk. This is one of my favorite "Comic Stripped" customs so far. Second is a preview of the long awaited "Spiderman" and "Spiderman vs.Venom" Munnys. These classic characters were just begging for the VISEone treatment and it looks like they got it! Next up is a NYCC exclusive "X-Ray Floxy" figure, a pink version of the black one pictured above, and it comes with a black print and is limited to 100... very cool. Last but not least is a special COMIC STRIPPED version of the THINK-PINK-CELLE figure (not pictured). VISEone will also have his incredible Simpsons Labbit on display at the Patch Together booth, so make sure to stop by and check out all the awesome stuff VISEone has to offer.
