The Yellow Dino's "Bono The Robber Cat" Jouwe

We posted up WIP pics of The Yellow Dino's custom Jouwe upcoming show at ArtyFarty Gallery in Germany this October, and now we get a look at the finished product... most definitely not what I was thinking from the teaser, but turned out fantastic! The sculpting, colors, accessories... everything about this is top notch, and the attention to detail makes this look like a production piece, bravo man! Make sure if your over in Germany to check out this show as it will have so many great pieces submitted!

Here's some behind story about him..
"Meet Bono, an adorable cat who enjoy acquiring stuffs, especially when its belong to someone else *giggles He has courage like a tiger, nothing can ever keep him from doing what he likes. One of ‘em is playing hide & seek with you. Only remember, when he hide himself, he might hid your stuffs too :P"

"He’s not a bad guy though, he just love to play. Watching your confuzzled face exites him the most. There he goes, live his playful days. Until one day God think it’s enuff and punish him. Don’t worry, God is sincere so he kindly put a provision: each time Bono rob another stuffs, he will raise 1mm horn above his head so that Bono will always reminded of his own mistakes. On the other hand, his horn will shrink if he’s being good. How many milimeters has grown above Bono’s head? Guess Bono will never stop robbering, no?….it’s okay Bono, we love you anyway.

Tenacious Toys custom Marshall Blind-Box S1 - Featuring the work of Steve Talkowski

Steve Talkowski's rad customs for the Tenacious Toys custom Marshall series is being featured today, and Steve re-interpreted this shape into his own Sketchbot figure to create his customs for this series... in fact we he created OG yellow colorway, and he also created the next versions of his Sktechbot figure, which are yet to be released... the pink and the blue, great job on these Steve! Which one will you pick... keep your eyes open for the drop!

There are a total of about 35 pieces in the series... half of the artists were each given 4 Marshall's to customize: 3 in a standard style, and one variant. The other artists were given 3, or 2, or 1 figure to do up as chases or mystery figures. The concept is to put quality customs by talented artists into the hands of collectors for not very much money, so the price-point of $50 was set and the artist roster created, which includes: Mike "NEMO" Mendez, Brent Nolasco, OsirisOrion, Ian Ziobrowski, Den Ramos, LYS0L, Rolo, Bryan Collins, Phetus, John "Spanky" Stokes, Leecifer, Steve "Sketchbot" Talkowski, and ZAM. Stay tuned for more updates featuring more customs from this series!

Kidrobot's 2tone Dunny series revealed

It's finally here! After weeks of twitpics and forum speculation, Kidrobot's 2tone Dunny Series just dropped, and, thanks to Neon Monster, we are happy to present some of the first exclusive reveals. The lineup features standard figures by Ryan Bubnis, Aaron Meshon, Huck Gee, Tad Carpenter, Steven Harrington, Chuckboy, Maxx242, Pon, Doktor A and Aya Kakeda, a mystery figure by Maxx242, figures with unknown ratios by Angry Woebots and mcbess and a rare chase by Gary Baseman.

The 2tone Dunny Series is like the Endangered Dunny Series in that it is in limited release and available only through select Kidrobot resellers. Although you can see that not all of the Dunnys in this series follow the strict definition of "2tone," Neon Monster told us that the case they opened contained every figure listed except the Huck standard and the Baseman chase. Not a bad ratio! Hop over to their blog to see photos of all their 2tone Dunny pulls. Cases at 10% off and individual blind boxes are on sale now!
