This website is about any and everything that sparks the creative genius in all of us. By profession I am a Graphic Designer, and enjoy all aspects of design. From traditional to urban from resin to vinyl, these are all great mediums and deserve to be explored. On top of that everything from music to movies from guns to graffiti.
Just posted up on the KRonikle is a very radical new Dunny sculpt from Chuckboy for an unannounced... well I guess announced now... series titled "2tone". This is a series step in the right direction for Kidrobot, and after the success of their 2010 series... to follow up with this would be awesome. I love the fact that Kidrobot is creating totally new sculpts for their figures, and if the above Cyborg is any indication of what we can expect, then more please :-)
Toy Art Gallery is hosting the Red Carpet Kaiju Show this weekend and along with all of the amazing custom figures, TAG is also set to debut their toy brand TAGTOYS... the first of which is going to be the very provocative "HIEROPHANY" figure by Venezuelan artist Carlos Enriquez Gonzalez! This figure, is very similar to many of Carlos' previous giant fiberglass pieces, but unlike using that medium, these will be made from vinyl and stand 10"-11" tall. These will also be release in very limited quantity as this edition size is going to be 10pcs and will be priced around the $350-$500 range. Each figure is hand painted and signed by Carlos Enriquez Gonzalez and will come with the four additional variations, so those that make the purchase get it all in one package... almost like getting four toys in one. Carlos will be coming in to town for the TAG show for a meet and greet so if you can make it out, it will be worth your while!
Spencer & Stephen Ong of Rotobox Vinyl Anatomica just finished up their next custom in line, this one for the Jouwe custom show at Arty Farty Gallery in Germany launching October 2nd, 2010. This piece titled "C.R.A.P." which it is not :-) but stands for Compact Retaliation Armored Pod, and it turned out fantastic. They also created a little pilot to go along with this custom... sweet!
Have I mentioned before how much of a tease Erick Scarecrow is :-) Well, it's totally true... case in point Erick shares with us today his latest teaser for an upcoming Taiwan exclusive for Vince's Toy Studio & Shop. This release is of his Little Axe in a rad looking "Snow Forest" edition! I am loving the white with baby blue colorway and can't wait to see more... see I guess that tease is working :-)

Toy2R invited the hottest designer toy customizers to submit designs for the collection using newly sculpted Skelanimal Qees as their canvas. Each submission was personally hand-chosen by the Skelanimals creator to launch this "deadly" series of Qees, all inspired by the Skelanimals universe. This event right here is an awesome opportunity and if you have the time and money to attend, I would highly recommend this as Switcheroo will be hosting the great Itokin Park in their new workshop series! This is going to be a 2 day workshop that starts on Tuesday, September 7th from 6:30pm-9:30pm where Itokin Park is flying all the way from Japan to show you how to make a silicone mold. Then on Wednesday, September 8th from 6:30pm-9:30pm it's time to de-mold your cast, as well as cast it up in resin!
