Ron English signing and release of his new "Telegrinnies" figures during SDCC
Ron English is a legend in the field of fine arts, making a name for himself with his political pop culture statements through his paintings, and also know for his creepy "Grin" line of toys, which is why he was on hand at Dragatomi's booth as they hosted a signing and release of Ron's new "Telegrinnies" figures. Ron is super kind, and was great to talk with, and if your heading out to the con today, make sure if you see him to stop by and say hello!

Huck Gee signing and release of his new 8" GID Skullhead Dunny during SDCC 2010
Huck Gee came out to greet his fans with the release of his 8" Skullhead Dunny during SDCC 2010... and just like every Huck release it was madness! The lines started forming early, and fans for the most part kept their cool as they all waited in heavy anticipation for what was not yet even revealed. Most had not seen the sneak peek, so finding out that it was a GID version of this figure was an added bonus. Huck was super nice and signed the figure and the box for every fan that wanted that done.

Jeff Soto's "The Seeker" colorways revealed
One thing that is great about going to comic-con are the exclusives that you get to see before anyone else... this was the case with Jeff Soto's "The Seeker" figure. On display at the Hi-Fructose booth were 4 more color variants of this 12" tall vinyl figure, and as you can see the new color schemes look great. Another bonus with each version comes a new set of horns, making each figure slightly different than the previous! There is no set date of release or price on any of these, but look for them to drop in the near future.

Nathan Hamill at SDCC
Nathan Hamill took the trip out to SDCC 2010 this year to release and promote his "tyrannoCECILrex" resin figure. He did this at the Strangekiss booth #4637 where he signed and sketched for fans that came out... in fact one of his adoring fans wanted his stomach signed, hahaha awesome! Not only did "Ceicil" make an appearance but Nathan's first vinyl figure Boris was there for sale as well!

Bwana Spoons "Sloth 'n' Moth" resin figure
Bwana Spoons had a multitide of customs and amazing releases at his booth during SDCC 2010, but one in particular caught my eye. He worked with talented sculptor Beth Graves at Brand Loyalty to create a rad little sloth creature that is unlike any designer figure I have seen before... why you ask, well because of sitting on your desk, this resin piece hangs. It is limited at the time being, and is only resin now, but they are gearing up to make him into vinyl. The piece titled "Sloth 'n' Moth" has two points of articulation and is a cool addition to any Bwana Spoons collection!

Jesse Hernandez was on hand during SDCC to sign and release the OG version of his awesome Ozomahtli figure at Dragatomi's booth. There were a ton of fans that stopped by to meet Jesse and have him either sign or doodle on the figure as well as get some always popular sketches from him.... even Paul Budnitz owner of Kidrobot popped in to say hi. Also, don't forget folks that we have some Obsidian Ozomahtli's up for grabs via our store HERE, get one before they are gone!
