This website is about any and everything that sparks the creative genius in all of us. By profession I am a Graphic Designer, and enjoy all aspects of design. From traditional to urban from resin to vinyl, these are all great mediums and deserve to be explored. On top of that everything from music to movies from guns to graffiti.
Tony Nakanari keeps the customs flowing, and it's apparent that with this "Tiger" version of his beloved Spiki figure he is not running out of ideas anytime soon! This was created as a custom for a lucky collector, and supporter of Nakanari's work... and just like the rest of the the customs he creates this one is super clean, has tight lines, and the tiger versions translates so well onto this platform! Awesome job Tony, and keep em' coming!
I was starting to wonder when the next version of L’amour Supreme's stunning Mongolion would see the light of day, and luck would have it that this beauty pictured above is set to drop this Saturday, June 26th, 2010 via the Super7 SF, Super7 Florida, and Mishka NYC. This amazing looking piece of vinyl stands 5" tall, is cast in a fantastic clear red vinyl with metallic blueish green and gold spray... man this figure is insane! Look for these to release at 11am PST!

Once again another custom Celsius gets delivered to my inbox, and I have to spend time really looking at them in awe, wondering how it was created, and in this case really admire the cleanliness of the design and figure as a whole! Jenny Wolf does an amazing job on her customs as she transformed him into a lil spaceman... fully equipped with a blaster and a really cool jetpack that even has a small fuel meter, COOL! Last time we saw these HERE it was just a little teaser of that "Eye of Providence", and now Kidrobot reveals to us a whole new slew of characters set to be released in this upcoming Super-Mini Series! All these figures are going to be around 1" tall come from the mind of designer/artist Jeremyville, they will be sold blind boxed and are set to retail for $3.95 a pop and we should see them hit store shelves around July 8... just before Comic Con. What are you thoughts on this series... to me they look like capsule toys, and seeing as they are so small and the production looks soso it will be interesting to see how these are received... in fact they might be picked up by everyone, heck I have a TON on Little Homies, which seem to be very similar in size and quality.
Looking to get you Qee fix this weekend and you live in or around the Philadelphia area... well your in luck because this Saturday, June 26th, 2010 at 6:00 pm and marks the opening of the DIY QEE Custom Event being held at Jinxed in Philadelphia as part of the ongoing Toy2R 15th Anniversary Celebration Tour.

Some news from TesseToys and what a motley crew these two are... "The founder member of the Butter Crew is H-Dog. The Butter Crew are a secretive group of nutcases who do lots of secret stuff (more info coming). H-Dog is in charge of balloons, laptops and ale."
"L-Strain is the joint founder of the Butter Crew. He is often in charge of scouting locations and organizing swims in the sea, when he isn't hanging around with his seagull homeboys."
These two members of the "Butter Crew" from TesseToys will be up for grabs tomorrow Friday, June 25th, 2010 @ 6pm BST in the Tesseshop HERE for £19 each. They are limited to one of each design, cast in resin and finished with acrylic paint,spray paint, and Posca markers. Gotta love those great pictures with the seagulls, AWESOME!
Joe Ledbetter’s figures seems to keep on expanding the way the present them selves, and this is very apparent with the upcoming release of his "Magnus" and "Friday" Metamorphosis edition! These two guys in all their gradient splendor are limited to only 198 pieces worldwide, with both standing at 3" tall and have 3-points of articulation. Not much is known about this show except for the title "New Works" but +63 Bluxome Street Gallery is about to open it's doors and play host to some new works by Frank Kozik... and from the looks of it, there is going to be a little bit of everything on display. Some designer toys, large sculptural pieces, prints, originals, apparel and other misc. pieces, this show seems to be a culmination of what has made Frank, Frank! The opening night is this Friday, June 25th, 2010 at 7:30pm - 10:30, and since this is in Frank's neck of the woods, he should be attending so stop by and say hello.

One great thing about giving out blanks to artists is they all interpret it the form in a different way... this being the case with GrimSheep's amazing custom Celsius for the upcoming show at T.A.G. This versions of Thor interpreted by Grim is so slick and I love the use of the wings, the paint job is super punchy and the custom hammer is just icing on the cake. This show is going to be amazing and all of these figures so far have far exceeded all of my expectations!
