***UPDATE***
Your friends at This is Vinyl would like to say thank you for all of your emails. You have sent us many great ideas and suggestions to improve our store. We plan on implementing some of these ideas in the upcoming weeks. It was really great to hear from the collector community and learn your likes and dislikes. Just because the contest is over it doesn't mean you should stop sending us feedback. If you have any comments or requests let us know. We love hearing from fellow collectors....
which leads us to the winner who is Erin M. Her package of toys is ready and it will be sent out as soon as she sends her address. We are a very young company and we are growing. In the next few weeks you will find some cool new arrivals from Toy2R and Kidrobot at our store. I encourage you to stop by and check out This is Vinyl from time to time. We want to become a great online store known for the friendliest customer service. Again, thank you so much for sharing your opinions with us. We will be sponsoring another contest/giveaway in the near future. -Nick

Ryon Xavier Smith just passed over some awesome news about his "DETROIT DEVIL" sculpt/figure. From the last time we saw this
HERE it grew almost 3" and is now standing at 7" tall and is slated to come in 5 colorways. Also he mentions that there is going to be a show in Detroit Halloween weekend for release of the devil. The run number on the alt colorways is still up in the air but will be around 300 pieces worldwide, the black will be around 100 pieces and the other 4 colorways will be limited to around 50 pieces each... more info on this soon!

It has taken some time, but
Mugo, the first limited edition designer MP3 player and USB flash drive is finally here! 'Artist Series 1' has super limited designs by some of todays top urban artists, including
Julie West (U.K.),
Shin Tanaka (Japan),
Tougui (France) and
Yup (Portugal). Mugo brings function to collectible toys by seamlessly integrating an MP3 player and USB data storage to this palm-size platform toy. Designer, Aaron Atchison of Feed the Beast created Mugo to be clean, simple and stylish.
So simple in fact that it doesn't require any cables or software and works on both Mac and PC. The flash memory drive can hold up to 500 MP3 songs or 2GB of data storage. That's right, it also functions as a memory stick so you can store your favorite pictures, videos, data and more. The best part is actually navigating through your music as all the controls are under your thumb. By pressing the 'faceplate' you can control all the of the Mugo MP3 playing features. Check it out now, as these little guys are currently available at
www.mugoplayer.com, and keep your eyes open for a full review on this new designer mp3 player platform!

3A dropped their newsletter a few days ago and amongst all the goodies shown there was some great
sneak peeks of toys to be shipped and some that are still in production. First up is the
Bot Head that will accompany the 3AA limited edition
Reimi TQ. This marks our first peek at the
Mortis in toy form if only just a bot head. This looks to be a great addition to any collection. Of course these are long
sold out now but for those people that bought these sight unseen I'm sure they are more than pleased with the results.
The next item in the newsletter is sure to be a hit, the
Dropcloth 4 pack sold earlier in the year is
shipping out this week. For those unfamiliar the 4 pack came with
Junglar, Zhivago
(medic), Snowballer (winter), and Monty (desert) Dropclothes.
Also shipping this week is the eagerly awaited
3AA member package. Complete with
1:12 Nom De Plume, membership card, and Exclusive T shirt.
We also got a sneak peek at the
2nd anniversary drop of the special edition
Birthday Bambaboss. These are premade and will ship shortly after the sale in July.
These will be priced at $60. and will be sold at
