"Glitter Smoke" Big Sal from Super 7
Super 7 just revealed their latest colorway for Kathie Olivas and Brandt Peters's Big Sal figure. "Glitter Smoke" Big Sal is looking really great, and I tend to like the smoke vinyl better than the clear and not being a fan of glitter... this thing looks dope! It's set to drop on June 19th via the Super 7 store.

"BaoBomb" custom from Troy Stith
Troy Stith does it again with his amazing "natural" terrain like creations, and this time around it might be his largest to date. Using Kozik's OG 10" Dr. Bomb figure as the base, Troy proceeded to add his own flavor to this piece of vinyl with tons of sculpting medium, and fake foliage along with a rad stand and a ton of TLC "BaoBomb" was created! What used to be 10" tall now stands a hunking mass at 14" tall and weighing over 3lbs. This figure turned out fantastic and is looking for a new home... it will go up for sale on Thursday, June 3rd 2010 @ 11:00am (EST) in Troy's online shop HERE! Hit the jump to read the full story behind the rad creation that is "BaoBomb"!
The story of "BaoBomb":
It's said that BaoBomb was once the great protector of the villagers of Tu'R'Land against the destructive giants of the land. He threw his bombs with a mighty swing of his trunk, stopping his nemesis well before they set foot near the cities and towns he protected.
While BaoBomb was loved across the land, his demise couldn't have been prevented. BaoBomb had a deep love with the fruit of the Slumber Forest, a forest that no mortal dared set foot in. While BaoBomb had made this gluttonous trip many times, his last trip wasn't cautious enough. Although the Slumber Forest had many great treats, it was also the home to many heinous variations of vegetation. One such thing was the Devourer Plant, a breed of plant that took over trees, land, and anything else it could root into. Not only was this plant a menace it grew fast. While BaoBomb was busy with his delectable fruits, he didn't notice that he had walked through a Devourer Plant patch along the way. The seeds of the plant had stuck to his feet and the juices dripping from his hands activated the seeds which began to sprout. By the time that BaoBomb had noticed the plant crawling up his leg, it was already too late. The plant had deeply rooted into the ground and quickly climbed up his body locking him in place.
BaoBomb wasn't discovered until a brave soul went looking for the giant. The man knew BaoBomb had disappeared to the forests before and that's where he had to be. Unfortunately the man found him rooted in place. His famous bomb still in his hand, but instead of a flame, a plume of fiery foliage now represented the wick. The people of Tu'R'Land still make an annual journey to BaoBomb to pay their respects to the great defender.

3A Tommy Missions to ship out...
I just saw this on the 3A forum and had to post it up. This my friends is why I collect. The above picture was posted up today by Ashley Wood. This incredible 2 figure set named the Atrocity Exhibition set was a special limited set that already sold out. It was sold to fans with just a idea, for those that don't know Ashley Wood or 3A this may sound like a gamble to spend money and wait a few months for something sight unseen but for those lucky enough to have grabbed these limited 40 sets the reward is shown above. A absolutely stunning creation and I'm sure a set that will be hunted for some time. For those that missed out I feel your pain I did too, but isn't it great knowing that such beauty is being created? Look for Tommy Mission singles, this Atrocity Exhibition set and the Darkland 2 pack to be shipping out now.
As for 3A they are onto their next toys with a special sale on July 2. Also from this line (Adventure Kartel) the next figure is titled Ankou. More detail to come soon...

Ninjatown: Trees of Doom! from Shawnimals
I can officially say that this game rocks my socks and would recommend it to any iPhone/iPad/iPod user... many-a-hour have been wasted on this addicting little application and Shawnimals hit the nail on the head when creating this... and the best part about Ninjatown: Trees of Doom! it's only $.99 right now, but only for a limited time. The game is simple, just tap the side of the screen as the apprentice ninja ascends to the top of the tree jumping from side to side, that's it, but the graphics and gameplay are so engaging...FANTASTIC! So if you've been on the fence, or perhaps want to gift it to a friend, now would be the time.
