Patricio Oliver has been super busy lately, not only designing his own figures but laying down some designs on platform toys... in fact he was picked along with a handful of other artists for an up-n-coming mini series called "
Blankie" which stands 3.5" tall and is going to be produced by
www.aarting.com, an new company based out of Brooklyn, New York! Now this is the first series which was voted on by all their piers...
and out of 190 designs, they
only picked 11 and PO! was one of the lucky few along with designs by
Matucha, Menilla, Stor Dubine, PO!, Igor Ventura, Chupa&cabra, Atomic1970, Cvele, Miss Shelby, Jaoc, Jec and McCoy. PO! says that his design

Samuel Secret Vamp is the first character from the Horror Forest to manifest on the vinyl world. He is a secret agent working for Child of the Night, who seeks to discover all secrets of the Pentacle Village." This character works well on the little figure, in fact most of the designs in series 1 are very strong. For more info and images from this series hit up the Aarting forum

So here's the final color released for the Popbot sale tomorrow at bambaland this will be the standard popbot, part of the Underverse 3 pack selling for $360 and sold as a single for $150. Sale starts at 6 pm pacific time.

Kuso Vinyl... they just sent over some very revealing photos showing off glimpses into what colorways they have planned for
Rotobox's upcoming Fahrenheit
(more on it HERE) figure... and from what I can tell there are 4 versions so far,
White/Black with a green scarf, Black/White with a red scarf, a GID/Black with a black scarf, and finally a White/Gray with a red scarf... WOW, talk about pulling out all the stops, and it appears that these 4 versions are already into production... I can't wait to see the full reveals, stay tuned for more info as it rolls in!

Nakanari just passed over some exciting news about a new figure line that he is releasing as a co-branded

Kuso Vinyl figure. This project being called "Spiki Chiisai" is going to bring Nakanari's Spiki figure into the self-stated "
dizzying world of blind-boxed minis", and how perfect because Chiisai translated into English means small! Above we are getting the first look at the proto of this figure
which stands about 3.5" tall. Series 1 is slated to
feature 15 or so artist designs. In addition expect a few store exclusives or brand exclusives. This should be very interesting to see how this goes, and I think it actually will be pulled off pretty well... but time will tell and I am sure more updates will follow in the near future!

Jose Reynoso just passed along a new photo of his upcoming resin designer toy he is calling "
Gumpy"! Now even though we have just a thumbnail view at the figures face you can see it has some pretty distinct lines, check out that brow, and there appears to be the edge of a star near the top of his head... very interesting. The full reveal of this figure is going to happen at
Gunnzo's open house this Saturday, May 29th 2010 in San Diego, where one lucky attendee will have the chance to walk away with a "Gumpy" prototype... how awesome is that! This figure has so many more layers to it than meets the eye, and all will be revealed very soon, so stay tuned!

Gamma Proforma to release a limited edition print titled "
Village Machine - First Launch". RAJE Toys just posted up some new info on
Doktor A's "G.N.O.M.E" figure... and it's a doozie, as they are announcing the 2nd colorway of this fantastic figure... dubbed the "Organic" version which include some fantastic Dok A vines as well as a great earth tone color pallet! They are stating that this is slated for a summer release... and oh boy summer can't come soon enough!
