*EXCLUSIVE* Full reveal of Sket's Bacon MAD*l

This little piggy went to the market, this little piggy showed up on Toy Break, and now this little piggy shows off his mischievous little face on SpankyStokes.com :-) Sket-One's infamous "Bacon" character has found a new home, on a new platform and is set to release this summer... you would think he would have changes his bloodied up clothes by now though, hehehe. These are an exclusive to Wizard Sleeve Toys and will be limited to 300 pcs worldwide, with a retail price set at under $50 you just can't go wrong!

Bacon is slated to make his debut on the East coast at Kidrobot NY where Sket will be on hand for a signing, then he will be jet-set for the West coast as Crewest Gallery will play host for a signing as well. The detailing on this is really great and it was produced by MAD's company Solid Industries so you know the quality is top notch. I am really excited for this to drop, in fact I just may squeal, yes I know, and I am sorry :-)

Keith Poon's "Mr.FIRE" for the Mr.power custom show @ Toyqube 5/21/10

You see the nice thing about hosting a custom show is you can enter a figure yourself, and that is exactly what Keith Poon did as the owner/operator of Toyqube... not that this is the only way he can get into a show, on the contrary his customs are SICK and very apparent in his latest piece titled "Mr.FIRE"! This was created on an 8" Mr. Power vinyl figure from Phalanx Studio for ToyQube's upcoming custom show titled "Power Arts for Power Ups: Mr. Power Custom Show". Keith has a way with brushing on special paints to make it look like brushed metal, and that is exactly what he did with this one, he also added the patented "bite" mark on the shoulder as some flame like colors besides just the metal. Be sure to head on out tomorrow night, Friday May 21st 2010 to see this as well as a ton more great customs in person!

Originally two separate designs that were combined out of experimentation, the end result proved to be iconic and widely recognizable." Matt took these two mashed up characters and started incorporting them into alot of his 2D street art , and now years later, this recognizable is making the jump from 2D to 3D in the form of vinyl! "Name Tagging" graffiti book from Martha Cooper

In "Name Tagging", graffiti photography legend Martha Cooper presents a dizzying array of “Hello My Name Is” stickers adorned with tags, the origin of graffiti and today’s street art cultures. Cooper’s introduction, artist interviews and photographs make clear how artists famed and anonymous take advantage of the accessibility and practicality of name tag stickers. From CLAW MONEY and NECK FACE to TWIST, SURE, FAUST, COSBE and many, many more, Cooper’s camera has captured the artistry and audacity of these artists and their distinctive tags.

Name Tagging recognizes the variety and innovation of tags, crediting the form’s history while demonstrating how old school methods breed some of today’s most exciting graffiti. Resin "Specimens" #3 & #4 from DMS

DMS's latest resin "Specimens" release have surfaced and are ready to be released! These are the #3 and #4 of his one-off handmade resin plaster figures from DMS, and according to him these "Two more Specimens have been collected from the South West reef of Planet 44. The Deep Sea Dusters discovered a bottom feeding camouflaged specimen, while the Reef Patrol units found a very colourful life form skimming across the reef". The two version above, are much better than the previous released ones IMHO, I love the lobster red, and the rusty camo green and they are actually different in size and shape as Specimen #3 measures 3.5." long and Specimen #4 is 3" long. These are set to drop on Sunday May 24th, 2010 in his online store HERE, and keep your eyes peeled for more Specimens to pop up!

Kidrobot is honoring him by not only a cool interview, but by also doing a contest to win a specially customized 8" Dunny by DrilOne. All you need to do is email wheelbarrow@kidrobot.com with the names of your three favorite artists of all time to enter. The drawing will be held next Thursday May 27 at 3pm EST. "Frankentea" custom Cup of Tea by Leecifer

Happy Panda Toys just sent over more news about another awesome 1 of 1 custom Lunartik Cup of Tea by customizer Leecifer! The piece is called "Frankentea" and has been done up in true Leecifer fashion. I love the added bolts and the cupa-blood runith over, and how can you avoid those great stitches. One thing I do notice about the past few HPT customs is the use of one red eye and one blue eye, now I don't know if this is on purpose or just mere coincidence, either way, it looks great! You can pick up this custom via the HPT website HERE for $240!
