We posted about this plush
back in August of last year, and come to find out these have been several years in the making, and were long delayed by a severely flood-damaged factory facility in China... but now
Brian "Candykiller" Taylor's awesome Coney plush is ready to find it's way into YOUR home!
Produced by
Bigshot Toyworks each
14" tall Coney is made of high-quality canvas, and screen-printed with Candykiller's stellar "Coney" character artwork. The base is weighted, allowing the plush figure to stand on its own! A color version will be available through retailers, while a super-limited Mono version is will only be available direct from Bigshot Toyworks online store
HERE! There is also a great looking "Coney Cloud" which measures
14" around, and is full embroidered on both sides. The red Coney and Coney Cloud plush figures will
retail for $30.00 each, but if your diggin all of them the only way to get the mono version is to pull the trigger
at the $100 mark HERE... which you will get all three.

So who's ready for another contest... I know I am, and thanks to
Ryan Minard aka DropPixel we have a great one slated for this week! Ryan so graciously donated his time and effort into this great custom 3" dunny series and is giving away the chase to the loyal readers of SpankyStokes.com, and trust me, it's AWESOME! For this set/series there are a total of 6 Dunnys all 1/1 painted with acrylics and additional details added with super-sculpey. Each will come in a hand-made box.
So this whole series is set to drop THIS Friday May 7th, 2010 at 1pm CST for $45 each shipped in Ryan's online store
HERE, but we are giving you the opportunity to win one before this series hits by simply leaving a comment in this post answering this question: "
What color do you think the mystery chase dunny is?" Pretty simple huh... one random winner will be chosen, and announced on Friday morning. One entry per person please. Ryan spent a ton of time on this series and is looking to expand his network so please if your not already following him on
Twitter or
Facebook, do him a favor and add him as a friend, the least all you great folks could do for him, right? Thanks to all that participate and good luck to you all!
WE HAVE A WINNER
Hit the jump to find out who it is...

THE WINNER IS
Thanks to all that participated... we had 69 entries... you guys ROCK HARD!!!! Congrats to
Taryn for guessing "
Trying not to look too much at other guesses, I'll say the chase figure is gray". So the way Ryan picked was he wrote down those that selected either Black or Gray, then out of those used Random.org and Taryn was picked. Ryan says "
I want to say thanks to everyone that posted and to those that have left comments on twitter, here and the forums on the pieces. It has been a lot of fun transposing doodles from my project list to Dunnys. I am looking forward to continuing to develop this character and already have some things in the works. Keep an eye out on my twitter, flickr and facebook for WIP shots...I like to keep a record of what I am working on to help me see the progress I have made."... and look what the winner gets to take home... awesome!!!!
Thanks so much to Ryan for donating such a rad custom, and thank you all for your guesses, oh and I got another giveaway ready to go, so keep your eyes on
SpankyStokes.com, and thanks so much again for participating!

Posted up on the
KRonikle is a teaser at an upcoming 8" Dunny designed artist
Tim Tsui. Now we did some diggin and found a very similar looking design that he did on a Munny for Kidrobot's MunnyWorld exhibition. I am thinking we can expect something very similar in design this coming June. Now is it just me or does
this close up on the face really do this an injustice, the line work on the face does not look too clean, and there is some noticeable overspray, I hope this is just an artist proof. This another 8"er that will set you back $75, and these are going to released in a very large quantity 1000 to be exact. What are your thoughts on "Da Space Warrior"? This is not for me, but I am sure others are freaking out right now :-) I will personally stick with Tim's amazing Da Minci figures!

I just noticed up on the
LeLab Facebook site that they have just recently released a template for a mini version of their Playing Art figure... and according to the template the figures are only going to
stand a lil over 3" tall. They have also posted up a color sample of a design by artist
Stenkat. Now although there is nothing for reference in the picture, the figure does appear to be smaller in nature. So does this all mean there is going to be a mini-series, time will tell, in the meantime, download the template
HERE and get to work.

DrilOne continues to push the limit of his military style of customizing with this fantastic
"ONS-5109 Sushi Mine" custom on Andrew Bell's rad O-No Sushi platform. This turned out amazing, and is one of the only custom O-No's I have seen. The added barnacles, chains, rust and rivets really bring this custom over the top. This custom alone has so many parts, and to be able to tie them all together as once complete package... I applaud you good sir! More pics over on his Flickr
