Scion's Installation 6 - Video tour is opening at Pink Hobo in Minneapolis this weekend, May 7th, and Josh Graham, one of the featured artists on the tour discusses his work, the beautiful and mesmerizing "Six Witnesses To A Dying Star" in the video interview above. The concept features 6 houses (based on actual houses) in a time after the Earth has lost its atmosphere and the sun has started to die and turn into a nebula. You may also know Josh from his musical ventures - he plays with the bands a Storm of Light and Blood and Time... do yourself and watch the video above, it's seriously rad what Josh does!
We get to see Camilla's famous "Helmetgirls" inspired by her own interests in love, fantasy, emotions and decisions, and as she goes on to describe that "Many of these paintings are based on personal triumphs and setbacks. Though subtle, I wanted to use visual themes to reveal secrets and hold up mirrors to others and myself. I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and present myself in black and white, shedding the richness of a color palette and replacing it with a stark and naked face of line work and detail." This is going to be a fantastic showing of Camilla's work and if the 4 above paintings are a taste of things to come... I deffinitly want to see more! If these or any other works for this sow spark an interest please contact: Mondo Bizzarro, Luisa Montalto, +39-06-44247451, firstname.lastname@example.org.
