Mike Mendez aka Nemo passed on some info about an artist he recently met at the Bic Buddy show at Zakka by the name of See One. Mike says that "He is a great guy and a talented artist, he's working on the transition from his illustrations and painting to toy design and custom work" and luck would have it that See is having a solo show at 47 Monroe Gallery in NYC on April 17th, 2010 featuring a ton of new works... if interested check out the dope video montage above, and head out to the show to show some support!

"Throughout the Ocean region of Planet 44 we have stationed Deep Sea Duster units. Adapted to withstand the corosive sea water, they monitor tides and marine lifeforms and collect samples from the ocean floor"
"When it's the three of us we think differently, challenge each other, and approach problems differently. It's allowed us to grow independently as artists and also bring more when collectively we get together. Now there's nothing that really stops us. Distance doesn't stop us." - HVW8
Montreal's HVW8 Production House was established in 1998 by Tyler Gibney, Gene Pendon and Dan Buller.
