WOW... is what I said when I watched this earlier today after reading Steve Talkowski's tweet about the amazing video that Dave Gittleman put together showcasing the custom Sketchbot show that happened at My Plastic Heart a week ago on Friday, March 26th 2010. This video really was put together nicely and you can never go wrong with a sweet Gorillaz track pumping through the whole thing! Do yourself a favor and watch this, and when you done CLICK HERE and go buy one of the customs that are still available. Thanks for sharing Steve, and thanks for the great video Dave!

Toy Street recap with Rob Losito...

As many of you may know, or may not know, Rob aka Smack6102 follows and cares about the toy scene more than anyone I have ever had the pleasure to talk with, and when asked if he would do a recap about his experience about his trip in New York to see what the Cookies-n-Cream organized Toy Street was all about... he was more than happy to share all the great details.
Rob says that "Lewis Ojeda aka Ghetto Geppetto's resin Stomarai Trooper (First covered HERE) came bagged with a header card with the reverse image of the trooper that said Toy street exclusive. Price was $80 each. 6" tall to top of helmet, with the helmet decoration it was 7" inches. I believe I was one of the only ones who got one and took photos of his hand painted version. The one I got said #9 of 10 so I am assuming that is the edition size or just a test run."
Rob also had the opportunity to check out the new Art Hustle Artist Trading cards from Simeon Lipman, and was pretty stoked on these... Rob says that "Simeon brought the first printed cut set of cards that were just done last night before he arrived. He handed me sample cards from the set as well as the Sucklord and a couple others. Morgan Was kind enough to hand me his actual suck card from the set, Not a promo card.... they look amazing." More info and pictures to come from this event, but in the meantime... a huge thanks goes out to Rob for hooking us up with the insider info and pictures!

Jesse Hernandez's “MICTLAN” prototype figure revealed to the crowd at Wonder-Con 2010
Today at Wonder-Con in San Francisco Kuso Vinyl revealed to the public Jesse Hernandez's new toy prototype titled “MICTLAN” which represents “Mictlantecuhtli” the Aztec God of the DEAD. You may remember us covering this figure HERE and now it sees the light of day! This figure is approximately 6" tall, and will come with a skull staff accessory, which by looking closely at it... resembles a serpent! This is going to be a fantastic piece of vinyl and the fact that Kuso is producing it means it's going to be nothing but quality! Look for a possible drop in July... maybe at SDCC 2010?
