I had the opportunity to meet MAXX242 at last years San Diego Comic-Con and to say he is a great artist would be a complete understatement, he's a fantastic artist and a really cool/humble guy to boot! Above is a video of Maxx242 going to town on a giant 6' x 3' canvas live in front of Gibson Amphitheater before a Pearl Jam show. The piece turned out amazing, considering all he used was Sharpie paint markers, I can't imagine the time it took, great job man!

Proxy Figures to release "Gatotkaca"... a new mustached resin figure from Indonesia
Indonesian company Proxy Figures is set to release their first resin figure titled "Gatotkaca"... which is the first release in their "Mythical Bean" series... i wonder what the other figures will look like? This figure is a limited edition resin piece and there will only be 100 made worldwide! I think they are around $40 USD, not sure though because I am having trouble converting Indonesian Rupiah's to Dollars! This is a cool looking resin figure, and it has alot of attitude, and how could you think it didn't just look at that mustache... it's full of POWER! It looks to be about 4"-5" tall with 3 points of articulation (head, and shoulders). If your interested in snaggin one of these up, they are doing pre-orders right now HERE, just follow the instructions.

Uamou x Real Head show off some new goods...
[PRESS LukeRook from Lulubell] Uamou is leaving. Well she's moving from her studio to a new location in the heart of Akihabara and what better way to leave then one last big bang. What a bang, Uamou released 4 new black fortune cat babies on black sparkle vinyl with a plethora of color paints, about a bankers dozen Uamous, four new heads, a large fortune cat oh and vinyl boo. Am I missing anything?
Not to be out done, Real Head drops a million new super mini or gapaon sized gems. A new Chaos bean, billy cat kid and mini slime. The cuteness rained supreme. If that wasn't enough tomorrow we'll see a painted billy cat kid and a few other surprises. It seems there is very little Real Head can't do. Be sure to CLICK THROUGH for a full photo slide show from the entire show! As always, thanks for the great pics and info Luke, your deff out Kaiju connection!
