"True Identity" screenprint from PaperMonster
PaperMonster is excited to announce a new print release, this one is titled "True Identity" and he has been working alongside Abztract to produce a print where according to PaperMonster "that not only gets me excited but will hopefully do the same for you... there are many elements I wanted to have in a print; large size, great texture, beautiful color, perfect pricing and overall impressive quality."... and I think he hit that on the mark for sure! This beast is a large 18"x24", edition of only 50 pieces, 5-Color screen print, and is retailing HERE for $45 plus shipping! I really love the use of colors and textures, and the overall image is DOPE!

2 custom resin "Oakors" by Tesselate 3/15/2010
Tessetoys is set to release 2 more custom resin figure sets coming up on Monday 15th March @ 4pm (GMT) for £26 from the Tesseshop! Each set is hand cast in resin and hand painted with acrylic paints, with also the aid of some spray paint! The two sets are titled "Oakor Accent Carrier 4 and Terry Eight" (right), and "Oakor Pipos and Terry Seven"(left), I really like the carrier edition and how the Terry figure sits on the Oakor! If interested in their back stories click on their names to read their bios! Each larger "Oakor" figure stands at a whopping 4" tall where the smaller "Terry" figure is a mear 1.4" tall!
SuperJuicyChicken Pink Edition
Now... who wouldn't want a room full of theses? Well now you can thanks to Q-You and their awesome plush SuperJuicyChicken. This pink plush poof measures in at a whopping 12" tall... and would make a perfect sleeping pillow :-) These are set to retail for around $25 and will most definitely bring joy to all that see it... and just in time for the Easter holiday, go buy one for all you love... oh and rumor has it they come in yellow and blue!!

Photos of the opening of Kaiju Comrades 2
Luke Rook of Lulubell Toy Bodega is on a rampage, covering anything and everything that the East has in the way of toys/figures and along his side this time around is Mark Nagata of Max Toy Company as they usher in the opening of Mark's Kaiju Comrades 2 vinyl show at the Design Festa Gallery in Tokyo, Japan! This show has a mixture of so many different styles of figures, and so many great artists are involved in this 2nd annual show.

This is one of those shows that I wish I could attend, and just really submerse myself in such awesome Kaiju, and what is really cool is that like mentioned before this the melting pot of Kaiju shows... many artists from the US were represented here including Dead Presidents, Paul Kaiju, Chris Ryniak, Bob Conge, L’amour Supreme, and Erick Scarecrow just to name a few. Be sure to check out the rest of the pictures Luke took by CLICKING THROUGH... and remember all pieces unsold will be put up for online consumption.

SSUR X Kidrobot Black... REVEALED!
Kidrobot Black's latest project has been revealed and thanks to Hypebeast we have these above pictures. We first saw a nice teaser image of the figure HERE... unsure who the artist was, but after a few weeks around the rumor-mill speculation became more clear that it was SSUR... in fact come to find out thanks to Hypebeast this is from artist Russ Karabalan of SSUR!
Now, to the "figure"... I love it, I have always been a fan of skulls, even though this does seem somewhat familiar... but it's a skull, a rad patterned skull at that with a gold grill and articulated jaw! Not quite sure I am on board with the grill though the matte black of the skull does contrast very well with them shiny teef! I am actually pretty stoked about it, I love that Kidrobot has taken the "Art Toy" approach to this, it feels more collectible... unlike the first release of the Baseman "Midnight Magi" which was more of a figure. No word on a release date or price, but all will be revealed soon!
