Something wicked cool this way comes

Three A dropped another new image last night for the upcoming Little Shadow 1:6 figure coming out on Mar. 18th 5 p.m. Pacific time (Mar. 19th Hong Kong time). The first thing you might think is "Hey this isn't a girl figure like shown before" to which you would be right. The second thing you might be thinking is "Hey this looks like a Boiler Zombie from the Adventure Kartel line" and you would be wrong. No word yet on just what this new figure is though Ashley Wood did mention that it is in fact not a zombie. No word yet as to pricing either. In fact the only thing we can be sure of is that it is from the Adventure Kartel line of 3A toys, it's name according to the title picture is Theodore and it looks pretty cool. Little Shadow is still for sale the same day. More news to come soon.

Avatar666's "Penguin" El Panda custom...

Avatar666 absolutely killed this custom!!!!! If you can't tell this amazing figure used to be a Muttpop El Panda figure that he completely tweaked using some sculpy, and other misc found objects. I love his attention to detail, the scarf, the vest... even the monocle chain, so amazing. The accessories are such a nice touch as well, with the hat and giant umbrella... this is one top notch custom! If you would like to see more, and he has a ton more great customs, hit up his Flickr HERE! Great work man, seriously my jaw has dropped open!

General Skullo and The Kyoufuoctopus from Plaseebo

Bob Conge from Plaseebo has been really busy with all kinds of customs and collaborations and this time around he has teamed up with Cannibalkaiju to deliver "General Skullo and The Kyoufuoctopus". These two rad figures are a mash-up of "Skulloctopus"(by Plaseebo) and "General Kyoufu"(by Cannibalkaiju) in an Ultra Limited edition of just 5 sets. The 5 1/2" tall "General Skullo" with swirled glass eye inserts has the patented Plaseebo color changing LED and the skull is hand painted by Bob Conge of Plaseebo... now the 3 1/2" tall "Kyoufuoctopus" with 2 internal motion activated color changing LED units is painted by Michael Pro of Cannibalkaiju. Bob has painted each of his 5 figures in a slightly different color scheme with various brain and arm inserts that can be seen through the clear part of the skull and arm. Both figures are made from clear vinyl produced in Japan.

The sets will be available from the Plaseebo web store on Friday March 12th, 2010 for $195 per set. What a great mash up of artists, and the figures are super cool!

About the figures:
[Press] "TWO HEADS ARE BETTER THAN ONE" or so the story goes. They met in 1956 at Paradise Ranch aka Area 51 millitary testing facility in southern Nevada. The Skulloctopus was a survivor of a flying saucer crash thought to have come from the planet Mars and General Kyoufu, a bio-cyborg soldier the government was experimenting on to create the ultimate killing machine. It was a match made in Hell and to make the most of it they exchanged heads as a symbol of their alliance before escaping into the moonlit desert.

Resin "Duster" robots from artist DMS!

Artist DMS is mostly known for his fantastic custom wax Dunny candles, but as of recently he created an awesome new character he is calling "Duster"! This awesome robot sculpted and cast by DMS is about 4" tall and is made out of resin plaster. As of right now this figure comes in three different colorways, the OG, Camo, and Medic with a cost of only $20 a piece! These figures are really cool, and at first glance remind me of Mr.Jago's Camobot figure. I really think DMS has got something going with these and I hope he continues to pursue design like this! Each version is limited to only 25 pieces... and can be picked up HERE!
