=27:fool's General Zoo "Part 1: Origins", this figure is pure heat!!!
=27:fool's and Fool’s Paradise are making some smoking hot figures these days and after seeing their amazing General Zoo "Injury Edition" figure HERE, I was completely sold, and now they are releasing this awesome figure in more of an attainable fashion. General Zoo "Part 1: Origins" is going to be limited to 270pcs worldwide, and is going to retail for $120. This like the other figure stands at a large 9" tall and is made out of polystone. This is an unreal figures and the fact that it splits in half leaving a pile of bones (if you wish) to the side is really great, one of the coolest figures I have ever seen... that being said, all the pieces are connected by magnets, WOW! If you are interested in picking up this piece email them at 27fools@gmail.com and expect this to ship before May, I need one of these, anyone out there looking to make a charitable donation :-)

"Jizo-Anarcho" ancient resin figures from DHP!
Check these out... this awesome figure from Devils Head Productions (makers of The Saddest Devil and Alien Space Cadet) comes this awesome figure titled the "Jizo-Anarcho". These rad ancient artifact looking resin figures will be coming out very soon, and above is just a taste of what there is to expect... more details to come!
Here is the very intriguing backstory:
"According to ancient Japanese legend, children who die prematurely are sent to the underworld as punishment for causing great sorrow to their parents. They are sent to Sai no Kawara, the river of souls in purgatory, where they pray for Buddha’s compassion by building small stone towers, piling stone upon stone. But underworld demons, answering to the command of the old hag Shozuka no Baba, soon arrive and scatter their stones and beat them with iron clubs mercelessly. Bodhisattva Jizo-Anarcho comes to the rescue by hiding the children in the sleeves of his robe thus defeating the evil attacks of Shozuka no Baba and her malicious demons. The message of Jizo-Anarcho to her as she is forced to flee in frustrated defeat is imortalized in this statue…"

5' Show Opening... featuring Camilla d'Errico
The new group show, titled '5', featuring Camilla d'Errico, Ben Tour, Lani Imre, Peter Taylor and The Dark opens On Saturday, February 13th, at Vancouver's Ayden Gallery.
All 5 artists will exhibit new works, and I'm pleased to share with you images of my key piece, Canadian Tiger. The painting is 18x24 and the theme is Canadian Nature. Every animal in the painting is native to Canada and the colors, like the Canadian flag, are red and white. My intention behind the painting was to express my fondness, love and pride of Canada, as my hometown of Vancouver gets ready to host the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
For information about the paintings or the show, please contact Ken Lum: info@aydengallery.com. Opening reception runs from 7 pm to 10 pm, with after party at The Melk. The show runs until March 14th.
