3A, long known to make and offer the best in 1:6 vinyl robots and toys has made it their new mission to take over the 1:12 scale world as well with Ashley Wood declaring "we are going to own the world of 1/12th" and while they have already started by producing the amazing and award winning WWRp (world war portable)line of robots featuring brambles and berties, this week promises a new robot the Large Martin and as if that wasn't enough Ashley has shown the newest prototype 1:12 human figure (shown above without head, clothes or paint) to be used for the line as well. The first figure in the WWRp line up? None other than Blanc De Plume and the best part? It's a gift from Ash when you buy the Large Martin 3 X 3 set available this Thursday at 5 PM Pacific Time priced at $350. That's 10 figures (6 Large Martins and 3 brambles plus a Blanc De Plume)for $350, gotta love the 1:12 scale line up. For those that don't need or want to spend that much these will be available at your favorite retail outlets that carry 3A toys and are supposed to retail as single bots for $45 each, still a great deal for a 9 in, fully articulated vinyl toy. And what's next for 3A and Ashley Woods? Only time will tell...

Marka27 sent over some awesome pictures of his latest figure in his Minigods series of vinyl toys... introducing the "MG3 Japan Ninja" which is being produced by Bic Plastics. This awesome creation is going to feature two working speakers, and for you techies out there... the specs are as follows 10Ω Main + 4Ω Tweeters, not to mention a rechargeable battery with a USB 2.0 cable, mini-jack cable and AC Adapter. I am really diggin on this design and Marka's simple graphic application works so well on such a complex shape. These is no word on pricing or release date, but that info will come soon!

Mondo Celluloid is proud to bring you the latest in our series of movie related art prints! To honor Hal Ashby’s 1971 masterpiece "Harold and Maude," artist/designer Jodi Jones will be releasing a beautiful screen print titled "Gone by Midnight." The print is 18" x 24" a signed and numbered edition of 50, and will be selling for $20.
Jack Hankins aka Horrorwood put up some Valentines joy for you all to download and make together! First up is this war vet entitled “I Just Want a Rockinchair” from French artist Scott Charron. Scott has a multitude of cute and creepy things to download on his homepage “Little Paper Life”. Secondly we have a loveable croc sporting his favourite soccer team’s shirt. This is from Indonesian artist Shoffi Lazuardi and gets about as much as possible out of the A4 sheet. Not very romantic admittedly, but some lovely designs nonetheless. This is an awesome interview with amazing stencil artist Logan Hicks, who participated in Scion's Installation 5 tour. He discusses his painstaking process, fatherhood, high dynamic range photography and losing a fingertip! This is a seriously rad video, and this guys stencil work is off the charts, watch it!
