"Mutant Monster Minis" from We Kill You


Valentines day marks 2 years of We Kill You hand made toys! In the 2 years multiple color ways and customs of 10 different characters have been created and sold to collectors worldwide, been in multiple shows, and customized by some really amazing artists. On Valentines day the first release of WKY's new small line of toys will happen: Mutant Monster Minis!

There are a few characters in this line and they are all going to be roughly the same size as his first toy Monster De Marais. Progress shots will be popping up on the WKY Twitter page HERE, and the WKY Facebook page HERE. Do keep in mind that these will be priced nice and low to make them available to ALL collectors!!

"Against The Grain" Nreazon show @ Dragatomi


Yes it is finally here! NREAZON will be doing a solo show at Dragatomi in Sacramento California. The opening reception will be on Saturday February 13th at 7pm. Join NREAZON at Dragatomi and take home your own piece of NREAZON artwork. This show will include lots of paintings on wood and Kokeshi Dolls.

Chris Ryniak's "The Burgeoning" art show @ CoproGallery on February 13 - March 6


Chris Ryniak has been hard at work... not only in the custom toy field, but has been slaying it in the traditional sense, working over many new canvases for his upcoming show at the Copro Gallery. Chris will be making the trek from the arctic shores of Cleveland to attend the opening on February 13 ... and as you can see from the teaser above... this is going to be an amazing show! Thingamagoop 2 is HERE! This past week Lief from Delicious Drips finally got his hands on a 9V battery to bring our new Thingamagoop 2 to life. Whether you're a musician, or just someone looking to bleep out of control...and maybe annoy some people till their head explodes, this guy might be just the ticket. The first version (posted HERE) was a pretty cool creation and now V2 comes along and completely blows the first one outta the water with all kinds of new buttons and nobs to make some of the most unique noises mandkind has heard!

An entire city looses the ability to communicate with each other. A boy struggles with an oddly tangible past. Dolphins parade with jazz musicians, lighting bugs dance, and squichons appear in this first installment of the highly ambitious and visually stunning Torn Pages Show.

OhNo!Doom is proud to bring you “The Following are Pages Torn from our Most Favorite Imaginary Books”, the first of the long-anticipated annual Torn Pages shows. Curated by Josh Lucas, this collection of imaginative, funny, and original children’s stories, written by some of Chicago’s finest writers and illustrated by artists of the same caliber. Writer/artist pairings include: Joe Meno and Cody Hudson; Zach Dodson and Allison Burque; Tim Hall and Ryan Young; Jenah Garrett and Stacey Earley; Ben Tanzer and Dominique Holmes; Nancy Khurana and Ruben Aguirre Jr.; Jill Summers and Andrew Thompson; Amy Guth and Pea-Be; Lindsey Markel and Jason Brammer, and Jaime Calder and Joe Call.

The opening for “The Following are Pages Torn from our Most Favorite Imaginary Books”, will take place on Saturday, February 13th, 2010, from 6pm-10pm, and will run through the end of the month. The show is hosted by OhNo!Doom, whose new location at 1800 N. Milwaukee Ave., just south of the Western Avenue blue line stop.

Custom Toy Union contest Re-Cap!


As many of you may remember being posted HERE they guys over at Custom Toy Union or "CTU" had a grand opening contest and it involved making a custom version of their mascot "THE TOY CZAR", and above are the winners... some really cool submissions and these guys walked away with some amazing prizes!

"Spock On" by The Agency on TeeFury


Haha, Star Trek humor always gets me! TeeFury is an awesome website that sells T-shirts for $9 a pop...the only catch is that it is only on sale for 24hours and then the next T-shirt is posted up! I have seen awesome shirts by some amazing artists on here and the total purchase price is $11. So that is $9 for the Tee and $2 for the shipping...that is an awesome deal that can't be beat! I will try and post the shirts up daily, or you can go visit the site yourself!
