Arbito solo show "Far Out West" @ Super7 SF
The king of psychedelic resin figures and art, Arbito, is making his way down from Seattle to San Francisco for his first solo at Super7! This is guaranteed to be an amazing event, and his work will not disappoint, I am actually very curious to see what he has up his sleeve for this one... new figures? new work? new colorways? time will tell, but until then, make sure you mark your calendars for Saturday, February 20th for the opening of this rad show!

Huck Gee stays very busy and just posted up on his Flickr are a few new shots of a monochromatic Skullhead, which is looking pretty fresh! There are no other details other than his website address, so I assume he will be releasing these in a limited amount pretty soon, so stay tuned for more info as I get it!

"Small and ingenious, they update on their own, they have almost infinite RAM but still have physical limitations. Even if they have the strength and force of 10 Shaolins, it still isn’t enough today in the galaxy for them not to end up as a pile of junk if they get into trouble. His dream : To buy a body guard to protect him from the ruthless Alfa and have his picture taken with either Lou Ferigno or Patrick Duffy."

The Art of CUTTHROAT @ Art Whino Gallery
CUTTHROAT’s strident stencil works center around politically charged and power-packed monochromatic imagery. His subject matter rings close to the locals of his upbringings, which took him across the Mexico border and back again, in a familial search for a better life. His images refer to the cultures that have underlined his everyday experiences, giving the viewers a rare inside perspective on what we may only understand from a distance. See it in person at the Art Whino Gallery!
His signature stencil style is the product of what he calls “a detailed and involved process,” which serves as a Zen-like experience for the artist. Methodical attention, he says, is necessary to be satisfaction with his pieces. “I know that there is a beginning and an end. I always hope that my audience appreciates the detail in my work. If they can notice that, I can be content.”

From Stefan's Blog:
Good morning. (And a special Guten Morgen! to our new German friends from Spreeblick.de and popnutten.de) I hope the week is shaping up well for you so far. Today's Monster is clearly a creature that knows more about the dark side of life than I do. Who do you think he's on the lookout for? Or is somebody following him? What's this guy's story? Do you think he would be suprised to learn that 344 LOVES YOU?

So do you like animals, and do you like animal parts flying everywhere after a grenade is thrown... well this shirt is for you :-) TeeFury is an awesome website that sells T-shirts for $9 a pop...the only catch is that it is only on sale for 24hours and then the next T-shirt is posted up! Money does go back to the artist and after today, this t-shirt will be Gone FOREVER! Today artist earns $1 for every tee sold. So make sure you get over there if yer diggin the design!
