Well while the rest of us not Living in New York at this very moment, and for those of us who can not be at the myplasticheart "When Hell Freezes Over" custom show featuring Cranston Fellows Jr. Created by artist Lou Pimentel, a reveal like the one above is as close to the action that we will get. Leecifer dazzles us once again with another stunning custom, by his flurry of colors and little additions like whiskers, feet, nose and tail to his "Hellcat" Cranston, seriously what can't this man customize, and do it with such style. Great job Lee!

Gargamel and Tim Biskup follow up the success of the blue and orange Relphe/Helper with a hot new version in cool colors. The white vinyl with light blue and black sprays version of Relphe/Helper will be available January 30th. This seems to be the theme for the season, some really cool/soft winter colors, I'm not mad on my end though :-), I think this figure looks amazing! No word on price yet, but they will be available through Super7 online and at the brick/mortar stores.

Indy Euphoria 2010
Indy Euphoria is a celebration of three different mediums (Indy Comix, DIY, Vinyl Toys) with each sharing the common themes of imagination and creativity. There are going to be a ton of artists spanning all mediums at this event not to mention some appearances from vinyl artists such as AttaBoy, Jim Woodring, Mark Bode, Josh Ellingson, and Jesse Hernandez!
Indy Comix present an alternative to "mainstream" superhero comics and span a wide range of genres, artistic styles, and subjects. Indy Comix are also known as alternative comics, underground comix, independents or small press. Many self-published mini-comics also fall under this umbrella.
DIY (Do It Yourself) is a term used to describe the creation or alteration of something without the aid of experts or professionals. DIY is associated with the zine/mini-comics community, alternative/indy rock and rockabilly/hardcore punk music scenes and, the arts & crafts movement. It offers an alternative to modern consumer culture's emphasis on relying on others to solve needs. Expect to see zines, DIY cd's/records and crafts such as silkscreen t-shirts, knitting, sewing, handmade jewelry, ceramics, buttons, stickers and patches mostly inspired by indy comix, vinyl toys, punk/indy/rockabilly music, ect...
Vinyl Toys also known as Designer Toys & Urban Vinyl, is a term used to describe toys and other collectibles that are mostly produced in limited editions and created by artists and designers. These toys are made out of a variety of materials; vinyl and ABS plastic are most common, although wood, metal, and resin are occasionally used. The term also encompasses plush, cloth and latex dolls. Creators of these toys usually have backgrounds in graphic design, illustration or self-described low brow/new brow art; some are classically trained in art and design, while others are self-taught.

Factory Handpainted Mongolion from Super 7
Super7 X L’amour Supreme has just put up some awesome photos of their newest addition to their every growing vinyl family, and the pics above I am sure don't do these factory handpainted production Mongolion's justice... even though the photo is RAD! These are due out sometime mid-January, and according to more research these might be blind boxed... not quite sure as of what they meant by that yet, time will tell. BTW both versions are stunning, and are guaranteed to fly off the shelves!

"Paw Rainbow Munny" custom by WuzOne
Artist WuzOne just finished up a new custom and I might have to say it is one of the cooler munny's I have ever seen. This is based off of Coarse toys paw! figure where WuzOne used that as inspiration to create his custom "Paw Rainbow Munny". This is a mini munny he created for for Solosontoys Munny Trade. It is 100% hand-made using super sculpey, spray paint and markers, except for the ears which are from an original Rainbow Paw and are removable to boot!

Aloha "Maile" by Chris Sanders - Red Edition
Follow up to the now sold out green edition. From the artist, Chris Sanders - "Maile was inspired by the many trips I've taken to Hawaii. May her warm smile bring a little bit of aloha to you - because you and I don't live there and we probably live someplace cold and rainy with too many cars and maybe even ice and trolls who throw frozen apples at us while we wait for the school bus. She is the first in a series of vinyls based on my drawings." This piece is approx. 8" tall, made of vinyl and is produced by Atomic Monkey... you can pick one up at many of our site sponsors stores for around $30!
