Scribe time-lapse painting of a Rumpus, Shark, UFO, and Walrus in Kansas City!

Here we go... as promised once again, above are some more amazing videos from Phil Koenig as he tapes Graffiti/Custom artist Scribe and a few of his buddies doing the hamster wall in KC. This week we get a bonus 4th video (Merry Christmas to us) the videos are of Scribe painting his Rumpus, a Shark, a UFO, and a Walrus. There are 13 videos total and Phil will be posting 2 or 3 time-lapse movies each Monday morning. So rad to see Scribe do his thing, I love watching him turn a blob into a lush forest, and the detail... oh man, so great! Thanks for sharing this Phil, and I look forward to the rest of em'!

A different kind of designer toy... amazing metal craft by Dustin Wallace

Texas born Dustin Wallace has got some mad skills and he applies them to his body of work, making intricate beings out of metal and other found objects. His "Homage Series" are all transformable, and the two that he has made change into jets. His "Robotagami" are foldable, poseable, robotic figures cut from a flat sheet of metal then bent like Origami to become collectible pieces of artwork. All of his Robotagami are designed to be art that anyone can collect much like sophisticated action figures for the kid in us all. If you are further interested in Dustin's work, or would like to contact Dustin about putting together a solo show of his pieces hit up his site HERE, amazing work, and I really admire what can be created from nothing!

"Dave the Door Mouse" by James Yeah?

This AMAZING custom from James Yeah? titled "Dave the Door Mouse" turned out so great. The simplicity of the paint application and the addition of the ears and tail work so well. James says that "Dave works at the door as a bouncer for the local Mouse Club. He used to work on the docks back in the 80's before Maggie Thatcher ruined Britain. I've heard rumors that he's done time inside prison for mouse murder and burglary but I'm not sure how true those are though." Keep in mind this is a large custom 8" knuckle bear, that was weighed down so it can actually stand with it's arms up... this should have been done in the OG design of the figure! More pics can be found HERE, great job James!
