This website is about any and everything that sparks the creative genius in all of us. By profession I am a Graphic Designer, and enjoy all aspects of design. From traditional to urban from resin to vinyl, these are all great mediums and deserve to be explored. On top of that everything from music to movies from guns to graffiti.
Above is Troy Stith's newest Munnsai titled "Ru-To", it's a custom mini Munny "that was actually a lot more work than the original 8" Munny" said Troy, and in case you were all wondering... yes, that is a real rock underneath Ru-To's roots (which are sculpted from sculpey). The idea was derived from the bonsai technique "root over rock", Troy says "when I saw the technique I knew I had to do it. Keeping with different color variations I chose to go with a golden orange this time around." Ru-To will be available Friday, December 18th HERE at 4:00pm (EST) for $150 (plus s&h). Great job Troy, my favorite thus far, I love how you can see the branches through the foliage!

Kaiju invaded San Francisco last weekend and set up shop in North Beach at Double Punch's upstairs gallery. Some might say that the Bay Area is already a pretty monster-friendly place, and Mark Nagata whose Max Toy Co is locally operated would agree. Mark was joined by Massachusetts-based invader Matt Walker of Dead Presidents and duel Japanese raiders, Ichimiya-san from SUNGUTS and Yajima-san from Dream Rocket. Together, the talented and wacky quartet filled the small space with brilliant colors, copious customs...and not a single Dunny in sight. All unsold work from the show will make its way to Ningyoushi. Lots of closeups, commentary, what I bought and your opportunity to correct any kaiju-specific faux pas (you know you want to) with the rest of the story HERE.

I just got word from Galbottoys in Australia that they are working on a new figure for the upcoming year and above is a teaser pic of this new DIY called "the OGLE". He's a type of Pervert Ogre found in the wilds of Scandinavia. This pic was taken from the clay prototype and is very rough, but you can get the gist of it! The figure will be vinyl, 4" inches tall and will come in "surprise" and "attack" Ogles (surprise Ogle is pictured, attack Ogle has arms outstreched.) There will be colorways of hot pink, vomit green and radioactive red, and will have no articulation. Play feature includes "able to be thrown at high velocity" and warning label reads "Cannot be swallowed by small children." ahhahaha, good sense of humor and cool figure... for some odd reason this figure reminds me of H.U.T.A, I don't really know why though :-)

And what's with his face? Does he have a great, big laugh? Or a marvelous moustache? A giant nose and beard? What is his story? I can't wait to find out from you! Because you always have the scoop! And you're always nice enough to share it with the whole class! You're so cool! 344 LOVES YOU!
