Call me a hypocrite for blasting endless bunny toys but loving all cats that come my way. (I happen to know that John is also a feline fan...) Meet Mekaneko, a robot cat from designer Matteo de Longis and produced with Barbara Canepa's artpop label, Venusdea. The 5-inch figure is made of plastic and comes in 3 versions: Acid Black, White Pearl and an undisclosed Artoyz colorway. Because all cats love boxes, Mekaneko will arrive in a clear display box with a 24-page booklet and a sheet of stickers for customization. The Mekanekos will be for sale (40 Euros) and on show at Artoyz in Paris from November 26th through January 2nd. Can't make it to France? Check out Mekaneko on Flickr here.

Michael Grey aka Nebulon5 will be attending this years Designer Con and will be displaying a ton of his work at the SpankyStokes booth #35. Among some new customs he will also be premiering his new resin piece titled "Jeheri" which is and awesome jellyfish resin that measures 1 3/4" and will be in a run of 19, but 5 will only be available at the show. These will retail for only $25 a piece... a small price to pay for something so awesome and limited not to mention all of the money made from the sale of each "Jheri" will go to an extremely dear friend who is fighting some tough health issues with no insurance.
The plan is to release 4 'colorways', each an edition of 19 through XIX productions. ;) Pronounced '19'. This one being the first. It's GID Blue. Other colors will be GID PURPLE, GREEN, and either orange or pink (but GID pink really smells. Reallly!). For people who collect all 4, Neb will be doing hand painted customs for each of them.
List of other customs he will have for sale at the booth include...
Muscamoot • Bop Dragon • Skullwing Fighter • Koibito • Mongolion • Wage (kaiju)
