Ian Firth (aka Friff) sent us these rad images of his latest custom Mini Munny, "Dave." Meet Dave as he steps out of the Discovery - based on 2001's Dave he comes with his own Hal 9000 wooden box. I'm digging the color scheme and the amount of polish put into this piece (considering it's just a Mini.)
The paint job and extra thought put into the box makes for a really cool overall package. I'm a sucker for good packing and people (or companies) who spend the time to actually put some thought into what helps carry or contain the art. If you don't have good packaging, you're just being lazy! :P I liken it to a great painting with a crappy frame. How lame would that be?
I think it really turned out great. Too bad he's not for sale. "Dave" has already found a home with Ron Lu. I'm jealous. At least Ron was nice enough to take some good pics of the newest edition to his collection. Thanks guys!

Stefan is a super talented artist, and a super cool guy to boot! You can now follow all of his updates via his Twitter profile HERE, not on Twitter yet? Get a move on!
From Stefan's Blog:
Now... what's the secret kept by Monster 58? What's he looking at? What caught his many eyes? What caused his odd head shape? Is 58 taking the day off? Or is he working on something? Pursuing a personal goal? Or just doing the dishes? Why do you think its hand evolved that way? I hope you'll let me know. I can't wait to see what's going through your head. Please...
