COLLECT3D feature on SpankyStokes.com
A few months back I was asked by the folks over at Collect3d to do an interview about my blog, how I got started in collecting designer vinyl, as well as many other pertinent questions that revolve around toy culture in general. This was alot of fun to be apart of and if you have a few moments head on over HERE and check it out, and if you feel like it post a comment either there or on this post and let me know what ya think! Thanks all :-)

"SwineFlew" Limited Edition figure now available
Can a toy relieve the stress, fear and anxiety of the H1N1 swine flu virus? Maybe not, but isn't he a cute little fella? Imagination Is Innovation LLC, and James Griggs today announced the availability of the limited edition SwineFlew toy figure. Young, old, wealthy, poor, doesn't matter. The world is going crazy over swine flu. I thought I would make something a little light-hearted and do my part in easing some of the anxiety being felt around the world"
The SwineFlew toy figure, available HERE, is a limited edition "art piece," and is not intended for those 12 years of age or younger. The figure is currently available for order in the color pink, and eventually will be available in black or white. "In addition to launching the toy, we are also announcing the Create the SwineFlew Dance contest. So here's your chance, to create a new dance!" said Griggs, "Do you got moves? And like to grove? Step up and create the SwineFlew dance! for a chance to win an iPod Touch."
To enter the contest post a video response to the YouTube® video HERE before December 4, 2009 for a shot at winning a free iPod® Touch. Further details on the contest can be found HERE!

Chicken Fever & Brown flocked Gatchigon...HUH???
Fans rejoice, two new reasons to love Lulubell Toys. Well, OK so they didn't actually do anything but they are bringing the thunder. Sinbad toys release a completely retooled and streamlined Chicken Fever. While the normal M.O. for Japanese toys is mini, several versions, and then a full size, we were treated with it's beefed up brother with very little wait. Word on the street is that we may see a new versions as soon as DesignerCon.
As if that wasn't exciting enough, RealXHead drops it's most anticipated figure in a while, Brown flocked Gatchigon. This one was never really clear if it was, or wasn't going to see the light of day. Well throw open the blinds cause he is here. Be quick though, while it did get made, it was in very short supply.

Stefan Bucher's Daily Monster #67
Stefan is a super talented artist, and a super cool guy to boot! You can now follow all of his updates via his Twitter profile HERE, not on Twitter yet? Get a move on!
From Stefan's Blog:
I fear that Monster 67 triggers the mustachio alert. Boy, how does he groom that thing? Not at all, from the looks of it. All that wax would probably be too expensive. What do you think 67 does for a living? Another scientist? Movie director? Bank robber? Rank bobber? Temp jobber? And what has 67 gasping in surprise? Or am I misreading his expression? Clearly, you know what's going on. If you can, please take a minute and let us in on 67's secrets.
