New figure "Mekaneko" by Venusdea

So... sometimes it is really tough to decipher emails because of language barriers, and this being one of those cases I will try and put out the best info possible. From what I understand is that "Venusdea" is a "art pop" label by Barbara Canepa and according to Gaetan of BFLV they have a new art toy release scheduled for a November 2009! Click on the images to make larger, but you can tell from the image on the left this is some type of "Cat" figure with a tail... intreguing! Not quite sure other than that if this piece is going to be vinyl or resin or the size or price! Hopefully those details tide you all over enough until I get more concrete info to post at a later date!

kaNO's A/P Bic Buddies... get em' while you can

kaNO's shipment of A/P Bic Buddy's came in and to his surprise they made two chases out of his design for series one. All three designs glow in the dark (green) but the chases have a blue and red tint to the mask and details. This marks his first blind box series and he was very excited about the process, not to mention that Bic and Marka 27 did an awesome job at gathering up a nice melting pot of artist which represent the east and west coast to the fullest. kaNO loaded the kaNO shop with Bic Buddy's so hit up the shop if you want to cut to the chase!

Stefan Bucher's Daily Monster #77

Stefan is a super talented artist, and a super cool guy to boot! You can now follow all of his updates via his Twitter profile HERE, not on Twitter yet? Get a move on!

From Stefan's Blog:

Monster 77 looks to be one bored creature. Mind you, it's hard to create much entertainment for your self without any apparent arms or hands. One wonders how this one got a job at all. Then again, perhaps he don't need no stinkin' hands. He does have alternative means of manipulating his environment. (Or should that be "frondipulating"?) Perhaps there is more going on here than meets the eye. Will you please take a look and let me know what you think?
