Can I just say that France continues to kill it with their art toys? Denis wrote in to let us know about the new French label,
LeLab and their PLAYING ART™ platform. The toy is about 8 inches tall and features these two fun platform toy innovations: the head is fixed on a ball joint and the tail is bendable.
Bali-Bali is designed by
Spasm One. Woodi is designed by
Aro. Moon-K (which comes with additional sticker eyes) is designed by
LeJam. They will by produced as editions of 350 pieces for each design and retail for 63 Euros€ (~$97 USD). The blank figure will be sold 37 Euros€ (~$55 USD).
Marcel and Jessica, Le Lab's mascots, are designed by
Tizieu, who you Dunny collectors should remember from the French Dunny series. Each mascot will come in 2 different color versions ("classic" and "wild") with a run of 500 pieces each at 46 Euros€ (~ $68 USD). Each figure is about 15cm (about 6 inches) and comes with real clothes and 2 sets of hands.
These pictures are samples and the release is scheduled for the end of the month. Sculpting and paint app looks nice and clean. Based on pics from
their blog, the packaging looks great too. And who doesn't love monkeys with human names???

Do you remember a little while ago(
posted HERE and HERE) when
MAD did a contest for a 20" version of his Modern Hero Dunny based off his Series 4 Dunny... well he just posted up pictures on his
Flickr of this giant amazing custom! Check out the size of that "Big Money" necklace that don's the Dunny's enormous 22" neck! This turned out so sick and I am sure the winner from this contest is super stoked to see these pics, let alone get this in his possession!

By popular demand, My Little Arpie from
Hello, Brute is back for one final round! He hasn't been available to the public in over a year. There are only a few available of the clear version. The opaque version will be up for pre-sales for a maximum 3 days.
They will be made to order, and you can pick your color from the options in the shop. This is the last mold Jon will make of this sculpt of the Arpie. So once his mold breaks, he will no longer be available. First come, first served (
Though e-cheques fall to the bottom of the list, sorry!)
These will be available for a limited time period starting on
Wednesday Oct 14th (@ 3:00pm pacific) and going until Friday Oct 16th (@ 11:59pm pacific)
Because these are made to order, please allow at least 3 weeks for your toy to be made. Jon finishes them as quickly as possible, but the process is time-consuming, so please be patient.

First off excuse the text, not to good at reading German :-) but from what I can translate these two figures are 100% handmade by German designer
Denada! This was created in a complex multi-part silicone mold and poured them in plastic. The post-processed castings were then painted with airbrush and brushed with a clear varnish finish. The larger figure "Bronco" is a 6-piece set, his feathers are three separate pieces and glued in place, and the "Blue Pecker" comes with a leather matching leash. "Bronco" measures about 7.5" tall, without the feathers, making the little sidekick about 3.5" tall! This is a limited edition of only 18 and they are retailing for $150... you can find them
HERE! These look really cool and the fact that these are hand-made... the quality is impeccable!

If you like Owls you are in luck... but if you like owls and keychains, you are in LOVE! From
Kii Arens: "I love owls like many people do... obsessed is a better word. I was given the opportunity to make a set of keychains and damn if I didn't choose the almighty owl as my main design. I was surprised to find out that the owl shape can be used in many ways. One of my Hoots became a fish eating a penguin... nutty huh? I'm working on a set of prints that will feature some of my unseen owl designs." These really cool figures have been out for a while now, and used be be available at Target stores, but you can find them at
WST now retailing for $4.99!
