Even more amazing stuff coming from the boys over at 2PetalRose! This amazing looking bot is going to be a giant 7" resin creation and I am really looking forward to seeing more of this figure for sure! I really dig the simplicity of this figure, the roundness of the shape, no sharp hard lines, so AMAZING! More info to come, but if you can't wait, and you want to be the first to know keep on checking their website HERE or hit up their Flickr HERE!

Mini MAD*ls...
MAD just posted up a picture on his Flickr site that shows him holding a mini MAD*l, the figure looks metallic in nature, and the neck looks like it is solid in place, so no articulation yet. MAD has worked with the metal smiths at Fully Visual in the past, so maybe this is his next project in line with them, but time will tell! Looks rad!

Custom 8" Mandarin Dunny's from f+
These 2 amazing custom 8" Mandarin Dunny's were created by Josh f+ Pearce. He says that "I had them commissioned by two separate buyers. I think they literally have the most possible resin on them that can keep them just shy of tipping over! I really tried to go there with these two. The inspiration for these made it quite the challenge to live up to!"
These turned out great and to add to the sheer awesomeness the sword has magnets in the handle to attach into one giant dual blade sword... SHAWEEET! If you are diggin on f+'s work you can hit him up for a commission at josh@fplusneve, great work once again man!

"Raynor" designer vinyl figure from Blizzard
BIGSHOT PRODUCES EXCLUSIVE STARCRAFT II "RAYNOR" VINYL FIGURE FOR GOODIE BAGS AT BLIZZCON
The StarCraft II "Raynor" figure will be the first in a new line of "n00bz", a new series of customizable and collectible Blizzard Entertainment-inspired designer vinyl toys. Standing 6.25 inches tall, the Raynor is rocking his signature StarCraft II battlesuit, nine points of articulation, a BlizzCon '09 shoulder mark, Easter-egg Horde and Diablo III symbols, a four-color collector's edition box, and a excellently huge Gauss rifle accessory.
The platform figure was developed and sculpted by Bigshot Toyworks for Blizzard Entertainment. The Raynor is the first figure in the "n00bz" series, and will only be available in this year's goody bag! Available for sale at BlizzCon will be three other designs of "n00bz" figures, from the winners of a world-wide contest by Blizzard Entertainment. In April, Blizzard invited their employees to take home blank n00bz and customize them with their own Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo themed artwork.
Over 250 entries later, Blizzard selected three incredible designs! The results will be available for sale in limited quantities at BlizzCon '09. Blank "n00bz" will also be available for anyone who wants to try their hand at creating their own custom figure! CLICK THROUGH for much more info!
The first three production "n00bz" are: "Fury of Ragnaros" by John Butkus (World of WarCraft Team), "Ghoulash" by Oliver Chipping (Diablo III Team), and "Murloc Madness" by Julian Lefvebre (Diablo III Team). These figures will be available for $30 each during BlizzCon.
BlizzCon is a celebration of the WarCraft, StarCraft, and Diablo franchises and the communities that surround them. The two-day event features Q&A panels, social events, hands-on gameplay
tournaments, and more. The event will take place Friday, August 21st and Saturday, August 22, 2009, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

"My American Summer Tour" with Jon Burgerman
Giant Robot is proud to host "My American Summer", an art show featuring new work by Jon Burgerman. This launched last Saturday August 15th , but you still have a chance to see all this amazing work because it stays up until September 16th, so go and check it out!
Working across a variety of media that includes drawing, painting, print, animation, large-scale murals, and toy design, the U.K. artist has built a strong reputation through his unique and colorful artworks of swooping, intertwining lines, and hyper-emotional characters. A sense of British self-deprecation, dry humor, and modern-day anxiety imbues his work, which retains a hand-made, hand-drawn quality. In 2008 his art was showcased in Pens Are My Friends, a 300-page monograph published by IdN.
My American Summer will feature works that have been made during Burgerman's nearly three-month visit to America (in Los Angeles and, mainly, New York City). Most are drawings on paper, while others are unique, three-dimensional versions of his observations on his Brooklyn Hipsters, hand-made by plush expert, The Felt Mistress. The work plays with notions of being a tourist, cliched outsider observations, and how some cultural differences are now homogenized in most major cities.
