This website is about any and everything that sparks the creative genius in all of us. By profession I am a Graphic Designer, and enjoy all aspects of design. From traditional to urban from resin to vinyl, these are all great mediums and deserve to be explored. On top of that everything from music to movies from guns to graffiti.
Well many did not know, or even find out about this, but as Scribe came into town for San Diego Comic Con his good friend, Brandon H., hooked him up with a great wall to get some work done on at the ARTIST and CRAFTSMAN Art Store off the 5FWY and Washington! I was unaware of this as well but Michael Grey aka Nebulon5 was on hand and he took some amazing pictures of the process!
Also, resident authorized bootlegger, and master caster Dodgrr was able to be one of the few on scene with video journalist Chris Morrow to cover some of the painting live. In the above video you will see Scribe work his magic as well as talk about what he does best, paint!
If you are in San Diego and want to see Scribes work first hand, go check out the store, it is located at 1911 San Diego Ave.San Diego, CA 92110, right across the freeway from the San Diego airport! Big thanks to Nebulon5 for sharing these pictures! Also, for more pictures CLICK THROUGH for slideshow status!
Hailing from the all-mighty Bay area, CA, Jay222 is an artist known for his horror toy sculptures. He credits many things for his inspirations, ranging from old school horror movies and comics to various artists and musicians. In this video he takes on his biggest project yet, a 36 inch limited release qee from Toy2r. Jack Passion, two-time World Champion of "Best Natural Beard", joins in on the fun.
Need a lesson on how to customize a 36" Qee - then sit back and take an 8 minute lesson from Jay222. This fantastic video clip shows the inside world of "dead" creation by a very talented artist. After completion, the piece debuted at the Space Gallery in San Francisco, July 31st. This turned out so sick ,and you just gotta love time-lapse video!
