Muttpop "King Katch" Full Frontal!
Above are some awesome "FULL FRONTAL" progress shots of the King Katch sculpt. I posted about this earlier HERE, and as you can tell from the photos they are making some serious progress. The detail holds true to the sketch above, and on that note it looks RAD, and really makes me rethink my sculpting skills (pouts in corner)!
Muttpop Bob had this to say about the sculpt and process:
The fine folks over at Muttpop are doing some great work here and I, and I am sure many others, are really looking forward to seeing this in its completed form, keep it up guys and great work!
Muttpop Bob had this to say about the sculpt and process:
We worked very closely with Monster5 on King Katch's teeth. Earlier sculpt versions of Katch had some mighty sharp canines. We felt that the sharper teeth distracted from the overall shape and look of the figure. The final version is a nice balance of menace and approachability. King Katch will be released sometime in 2010.

Stefan Bucher's Daily Monster #80
Stefan is a super talented artist, and a super cool guy to boot! You can now follow all of his updates via his Twitter profile HERE, not on Twitter yet? Get a move on!
From Stefan's Blog:
Monster 80 has surprises up its sleeve. Or up its pants, as the case may be. And I mean that in an entirely G-rated hydraulic sense. But he's clearly annoyed, this one. Not exactly furious, certainly, but not a happy camper, either. What's his beef, do you think? And what's he mumbling there at the end? Who is he talking to? Is he telling the truth? Is he dissembling? Opining? Or is he a gruff poet of science? A Byron of the Bunsen Burner? A Petri Dish Pushkin? And if so, how does his particular ability to go vertical affect his writing? If, indeed, it does? I know you've got stories that want to find their way out of your head and onto this page.
