Mike Slobot has been busy preparing for a show that opened Friday night in Wilmington, NC at the Local Gallery at
Fast Frame of Wilmington. The show runs for a month, and he has about a dozen slobots in the show, including these brand new Philosophers.
They are 100% slobot, found objects, etc and each stands about 20” tall.
They form a Triptych, and there story goes like this:
“Three Philosophers standing in a room, waxing philosophical on ethics, aesthetics, and various other thought provoking topics. These three philosophers love to discuss the ins and outs of the most complex and innane subjects equally. While lacking vocal instruments, they still manage to share their ideas both grand and verbose, by communicating telepathically with each other and everyone else as well. If you find yourself suddenly full of more thoughts than you can keep track of, there is probably a slobot Philosopher in the room.”
These are looking extremely wicked and standing at 20" a piece these are some large customs. If you are in or around the area mentioned above stop by and see all of these customs in person, they will blow you away! Keep up the great customs Mike, they look great!

This Thursday, June 18th is the release date for the new, ultra-limited, and hand signed Skullhead Dunny! Based off of the original design from series 1, artist Huck Gee has brought back Skullhead Dunny now in 20" form. With an edition size of

at $400.00 each, this figure is bound to sell out quickly.
