UNKL + DC + 5 and A Dime **UPDATE**
So as posted up HERE before This SUGxDC collab is about to happen, and sooner than I had
anticipated...next Friday January 23rd. It is rad that UNKL suggested they do a limited edition glow-in-the-dark SUG figure and shoe combination package with DC. With only 450 DC X UNKL Double Label™ Graph and SUG packs available these are going to hit the streets and be gone. The package will be available for $260.00 during the AGENDA Tradeshow in San Diego.
I really don't like the shoes...don't hate me, I am just being honest...now that SUG figure is amazing, and the masses have been wanting a GID SUG for a long time now, but we have to get a pair of unwanted shoes with the purchase...that kinda bums me out. Hopefully somewhere down the line they will sell these separate from one another, this will probably never happen, but one can hope! These pics via ToyCyte and Freshnessmag.com, thanks for the awesome pics guys!

Span of Sunset's 8" Metal Cheshire Cat
The latest Span of Sunset, Inc. X Disney collaboration has arrived with the immediate release of their vinyl figure Cheshire Cat in its newest colorway: METAL. The Cheshire Cat vinyl figure is based upon Lewis Carroll's character from Alice in Wonderland, here reborn into a 3D form by Span of Sunset, Inc. This Cheshire Cat draws inspiration from metal music, representing in an all black color with red and silver, accenting the cheshire cat's smirk and silver metal tail. Packed in highly innovative displayable packaging modeled after the classic "roadie" case, this Metal Cheshire Cat is a must-have item for both collectors and fans alike.
Produced in a highly limited quantity the Metal Cheshire Cat Measures 8" with GID eyes and mouth and comes in the specially themed box. You can pick yours up here for $60, which is not that bad of a deal...I really don't know where I stand on this, but I do like the color scheme used!
We are proud to announce the Metal Cheshire Cat--which is ONLY available from Span of Sunset, Inc., in store and online. Thanks to Matt Brown for the heads up!

Shepard Fairey on the Colbert Report
Colbert is awesome! Even though he asks the questions that make Shepard feel uncomfortable, he still put himself out there, and on the other hand Shepard does a great job...good composure Sir!

Sketchbot...back at it again!
So Steve Talkowski's has been uber busy lately with his latest rendition of his Sketchbot. Most of you will remember all the posts before on HERE about the process Steve took us through...step by step...the whole creation process, and he is doing it all over again. Go check out his site, and his Flickr for more detailed shots of the revamped Sketchbot.
As you can tell from the picture above, Steve has made great improvements on his character, and he is hoping to get new molds made/painted of this by NYCC, and he is already really close to doing that with his machined mold already completed.
Don't forget to check out the 3d turntable video below and be sure to stay tuned for more from Steve in the near future on SpankyStokes.com!

McBess Dunny...maybess?
So our friends over at Albotas.com, yes they are still around, and they are back in full force, did some diggin of their own to discover an awesome Dunny design by UK-based illustration artist McBess. Now I don't know if this was originally designed to be on a 3" or an 8", but either way it would be really great.
The only thing that really gets me thinking is that every time I see a nice design like this, I still feel kinda weary...I don't know if KR can pull off the detail, and I hope they look at what everyone has been saying about their products and the lack of QC, and really nail down that issue for future releases.
