WHAT'S NEW

"Robotars" new resin from Jomike Tejido

Jomike Tejido is an Architect and part-time visual artist and has recently become involved with the designer toy community starting out dabbling with paper-craft. His first project titled "The Robotars" was just that, a toy project started as papercraft in 2008 and now it is in resin. In his formal launch, he has asked a group of 10 customizers to do their thing on his Robotars figure as an exhibit he plans to launch at Fresh Manila when it re-opens in 2010. They are all his Filipino artist friends with various styles in the field of illustration, painting, and design.

Apart from the exhibit, he will have a limited release of 100 hand-painted Robotars resin figures in blind boxes, and the collectors will have a chance to get the ten works of the featured artists, hidden in the 100 boxes. This will be series 1.
