Hey everyone. Check out Poladroid.net! Just download the application, drag your photos, and watch your digital pics fade into a high res polaroid file. I would compare it to an action in photoshop that does all of the work for you.
Here is one that I did; check out the "Jams" that's what we called those shorts in the 80's!
I found this picture that pinned BIC Plastics"Sham The Clown" by MAD and "Vinyl's Attack" by Nicolas Lesdffre in a death match...not really, but would be cool to see these two fight, and I would almost have to give the win to Sham, cuz he would fight dirty! Really looking forward to VTN, and seeing as our booth is next to BIC Plastics, hopefully I can get some good face time with their products!
SKULLBOX is made in JAPAN at a super high quality. Standing at approx 4 inches tall and with 7 points of articulation (both wrists, arms, legs, and waist) this little guy packs a punch. Includes sticker & postcard. Edition size of 350. ARTDENKA's vinyl toy "SKULLBOX" was completed and the distribution was started by DKE TOYS. These guys retail for around $40, and can be found at most online vinyl stores!
A little info about the company:
We are brainstrikers ARTDENKA from JAPAN. We are active as illustration & character design team.
brainstrikers ARTDENKA is "the character factory" which keep producing a pop and crazy characters every day. We develop PUNKROCK, HORROR, SPLATTER characters with the key word "CRAZY POP".
So, In JAPAN, The toyz specialized in artistry is not yet recognized now. As for the toyz, characteristics and brand are loved, but almost people don't see toyz as "ART". We wanna tell them that toyz can be "ART" to Japanese people.
These little guys are super cool, and really look to be a great platform for other designs. I am hoping to get a hold of one of these to do a formal review to let you all know my honest opinion on this toy. Right away it gets my attention because it is a skull, and I am a sucker for skulls!
Are you a Lebowski achiever? Let's hope so. After all, it would be totally "un-Dude" of you not to be. Relive all the fun and laughter from The Big Lebowski with these cool action figures. Each features an outfit with real cloth pieces (like Walter's bandana) and includes various movie-accurate accessories (such as The Dude's 1980s-style mobile phone). They combine the stylized look of "urban vinyl" with a little Lebowski fun!
Jeffrey "The Dude" Lebowski is a real laid-back kind of guy. He enjoys "bowling, driving, (and having) the occasional acid flashback." In the classic film The Big Lebowski, this humble pacifist and his bowling buddies become entangled in a web of embezzlement, supposed kidnapping, and White Russians.
This hilarious Series 2 set includes 2 individually packaged 8-inch figures (subject to change): 1x Walter (Special Mission) 1x The Dude (Hoodie), and for only $29.87 you can't go wrong...just visit the Entertainment Earth website, and browse their great deals today!
Well here is another great mini-series called "Fury Baby" and is part of the Fury Animals line by artist Setoping! These fun loving animals all have a little attitude as you can tell by their pictures. I am not quite sure on the price of each individual box, but I can tell you that there are going to be 7 in the series, and 1 special edition. The release date seems to be December 13, 2008! Posted below is a flier of an upcoming event at Arrtco in Beijing!
These remind me alot of the Spooky Cute mini-figure series by Danny Chan, maybe because they are just animals...and kinda have spiky hair, but from the pictures I have seen the production on the Spooky Cute series looks to be alot cleaner!
But wait there's more!!! under further investigation, I found these photos of an alternate colorway, kinda monochromatic, actually it would be a duotone...anyways, I don't know anything about this series in particular. You can find out more info from Setoping's blog here!
