ITI-PINHEAD by ITOKIN PARK X KUSO TOYS

This awesome little creature, based off the cute cuddly hedgehog, was created by the famous Japanese designer, named Itokin Park. The figure is called Iti-pinhead, and here are some facts about this little guy!
• 5 inches tall.
• Expected release in Jan. 2009.
• Made of vinyl
• Original colorway of 150 pcs
I would like to see a "Sonic" version...all nice and blue, that would be really cool and could totally play of of the franchise that Sega started with Sonic the Hedgehog. Either way Kuso Designer Toys have been super busy, and it seems like their products they are producing are top notch...I am really looking forward to seeing what they have in store for us around the corner!

I really dig this new format and I find it to be super informative! It is really cool to see the figures up close in all their glory as well as the sweet boxes they come in...and yes I dig box art almost as much as the figure itself...don't hate, it's just the designer in me! Keep up the good work!

New sales policy regarding prints
We heard you...

Thank you everyone that purchased the recent Red Hand Gang Sunset and Moonrise prints. And thank you everyone that wrote with questions regarding the multiple print purchases. We had no policy in place regarding the print sales and felt it would be unjust to block people's multiple purchases after the fact. Apologies for the frustration but going forward we will implement a limit of one print per person. Hope that puts everyone's concerns at rest.

James Kochalka @ Giant Robot L.A.

James Kochalka Show Opening
Little Paintings 3 at GR2
November 15 - December 10
Reception: Saturday, November 15, 6:30 -10:00

Giant Robot is proud to present Little Paintings 3 by James Kochalka at GR2.

Indie cartoonist James Kochalka is well known for having a raw, humorous, and powerful style and prolific pace; he draws one diary strip a day for his Web site, and still manages to create an ever-growing catalog of graphic novels. His range extends from the autobiographical (American Elf) to kid-friendly (Johnny Boo) to serious (The Cute Manifesto) to raunchy (SuperF*ckers) to iconic (Monkey vs. Robot). His comix work has won four Ignatz awards and one Harvey award. He is widely regarded as the inventor of the daily-diary comic strip, and has inspired countless younger artists.

The Burlington, VT-based artist has also released several CDs with his band, James Kochalka Superstar. His song "Britney's Silver Can" was named one of the 100 best songs of 2006 by Rolling Stone, and his song "Hockey Monkey" was used as the theme song for the Fox television sitcom The Loop.

For Little Paintings 3, Kochalka is supplementing his acrylic 2" x 2" paintings on 3" x 3" paper with a few that are comparatively large. "There are a few that are 4" x 4" and some that are 6" x 6". Still little compared with the rest of the paintings of the world, but they'll feel giant in the context of my world," he says. Some recurring themes include royal cats, adventurous blobs, and tumors, happy apples, and crazy worms.

The multitude will not be framed but are quite suitable for framing. "I'm kind of against posters. I think people should have real art made by real human hands in their homes" Kochalka says of his small and affordably priced paintings.

A reception from 6:30 to 10:00 on Saturday, November 15 will include a special performance of music composed by the artist on his Game Boy.

JAMUNGO SQUADT

It appears as though Jamungo is moving along with their SQUADT figure, I have been following the progress of this for some time, and these new shots look great! These figs will be approx 5.5 inches, made of soft vinyl and feature real cut and sew gear. Most figures will be equipped with weapons and or accessories.

I originally did not like these, but they are starting to grow on me! More pics and info over at Toys R Evil!
